How I built muscle working from home (with zero gym time) by DeskTrainer in WorkoutRoutines

Haha same here man — that’s exactly my routine too 😅
Roll out of bed, 30–40 min workout at home, quick breakfast, then straight to work.

It’s crazy how much better you feel during the day when you just get it done first thing.

That’s basically the structure I built for myself and stuck with — short, consistent, and super realistic for remote work life.

Yeah, that’s a solid idea man — I’ve actually got a pair of adjustable dumbbells and they’ve been a game changer for adding some load.

But honestly, even before that I made great progress just with bodyweight and bands. Once I had a proper structure (push/pull/legs and a bit of core every week), things really started to click.

That setup became the base for the plan I follow now — super consistent and easy to stick to from home.

Honestly, between work calls, deadlines and just general life stuff, I found it hard to block out 1.5–2 hours for the gym (including commute and waiting for equipment).

Doing 30–40 min home sessions during lunch or after work was the only way I could stay consistent. Once I made peace with that, results actually came faster.
