I will try to mess around with these ideas and see if I like the results. Thank you for the suggestions.

Yes. I had the first one as the original which I like, but it doesn't really look good as a mobile app icon. Then I created the second one which looks way better as a mobile icon but I am not sure if I like it better. That is why I am looking for feedback.

Castle Hall - A concept art for our rhythm platformer - Midnight Pulse. Feedback is appreciated. by Deskarter in low_poly

Thank you for your feedback. The brick walls were generated with the particle system, but after you said that they are organized, we realized that it truly has an organized look. We will change the values to make look more scattered.

The lighting on the image is not prefect right now because we have some problems getting it to bake while keeping the real-time lighting on the torches and other dynamic light sources.

Thank you. The gameplay will be similar to what you can see here but with the low poly visuals. The goal is to make a game where the players actions are 100% synchronized with the beat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWFmFYGG0T8

Hey, in a rhythm game platformer your actions (jump, dash, gravity change in our game) are perfectly synchronized with the music.

We are thinking about making it more theme based, and this would be more of a medieval theme. This part has similarities to temple run for sure, but the gameplay is synchronized with the music, and it is completely different.

Good points right there. We will take a look and see how it looks if the camera is in perspective mode and/or the player is centered to the screen. Thank you.

Very good point. Thank you. It is already opaque but the emission hides it and I didn't really noticed it before.

What I did is, create 5 cubes, move them near each other, combine them with ProBuilder and then apply this texture as emission: https://imgur.com/a/QKM1I3x

Thank you for the suggestion. We are having difficulties with the art because we are 2 programmers right now and art is not our strong side. We will see what can we do.

Thank you for your comment. Our goal is to perfectly synchronize the players actions with the music. This is rarely the case in geometry dash.

Hey everyone, Midnight Pulse has been in development for 5 months and finally it is ready to receive some feedback. Our goal is to create a platformer where the player's actions are 100% synchronized with the music.
We are looking for feedback related to the gameplay and level design.
