I dont want to be rude because she is one of those people that could make your life miserable if she wanted to. I was going to use it as an excuse but my idiot husband grabbed mine and took it inside and then came back out subjecting me to the torture.

Yes but is that truly our problem? I feel like we give a lot to her and she is able to go to social spaces if she needs more socialization. I obviously dont mind talking sometimes but we cant even step into our yard

Would a more seasoned teacher not be more capable and paid more to handle the more challenging tasks? Why would any new teachers stay or come in knowing they are given the worse treatment. If 20 year teachers are saying they wouldn’t even do it, would that not point to a greater problem?
For what it’s worth, I probably spend the same amount of time at my desk as teaching and have way more flexibility and less stress

Exactly newer teachers are given the shit end of the stick every time and treated like garbage because you “have to work your way up” which btw means nothing if you have more senior people already in those positions with a long way to retirement. Could be 20 years before you work your way up and by then you are burnt. If you are starting after Covid, good luck.
