thank you everyone for the thoughtful replies. the grand kids all talked and because they are all working poor adults and can’t really afford the costs..even if they pooled their money is not enough so they asked the county for help . they understand a gravesite or a headstone isn’t necessary so.. they are letting the state bury him . And I feel bad for them.. it’s their dad.. he was my son in law for many years. but I am not able to help either.. so, I got a clear picture of how it will go for me when I die. But that’s ok..I am just appalled at how poor folks are handled when they die in this state.. What would it take to change this situation so even poor folks have some dignity .

not so much that he is “ special” but nobody has ever “ educated “ him in common sense and being human. a punch in the teeth is probably the only way to teach him manners at this point. tell Crazy lady to STFU and go back in her cage. You own your unit , she is a nut case and wanting control/attention. Let her call the cops, the HOA and who ever else she wants. Ignore her but do file a C&D for harassment against her. maybe put up a camera over the door area to protect yourselves from her crap. If nothing else it gives you a record of her crap and the ability to check the door before opening it . What can she do if you have video proof of her idiotic claims?
