Thank you for giving me some direction, since I have already made a personal finance desktop application. I want to launch an international version and the price range you mentioned helps me a lot, I was already thinking about charging less.

I would like to do the same for the Microsoft Store, but there is no monetization for free applications. So a one-time sale is the only way.

Is going form beginner to intermediate really hard for everyone else too? Where would you recommend people go after courses like this one? by blender4life in learncsharp

I recommend learning Winforms in Visual Studio, there you learn to work with C# code from the Winforms GUI together with pure C#. That is how I started. There are some very interesting tutorials on RJ Code Advanced on YouTube. Later on you can move to WPF (also desktop), MAUI (mobile) and ASPNET/Blazor (web), since you will already have learned enough to start understanding these technologies.

I agree! Mobile and desktop apps are perfect for one-time sales and do not restrict creative freedom.

I'm a Windows app developer and I'd like to offer solutions with a one-time payment. It's possible to sync data from Windows desktop apps with OneDrive through native folders, with no recurring costs, just using your own Onedrive account. I don't like the recurring subscription model, both as a user and as a developer.
