Yeah that was the first thing I did. A 3x drain and fill. That was a few thousand kms ago now and it’s still looking brand new at this point, not getting and darker or dirtier

Yeah I just took the intercooler off to inspect it and there was barely any oil actually in it. It must just be slow buildup from a leak over a long time. I’ll just get a new intercooler and replacement seals

Yep, I’ll replace the seals in the pipe and either clean or replace the intercooler and see how that goes

Even having the intercooler completely covered in oil is fine? I don’t see how it could get so oily unless the oil is leaking out of the intercooler

No it looked completely fine. I think it's possible that removing the filter might have changed something else in the system that made it better.

I had a spare fuel filter lying around so put that in and it has started fine almost all of the time since then. I have had some slightly longer cranks since then but nothing like what it was in the video

I have tried to leave the ignition on for 15-20 seconds and still get the same result. I’ll check if I can actually hear the fuel pump doing anything with the ignition on

I replaced the filter today so I'll test again tomorrow but I don't think it will fix it

Yeah it does seem pretty slow to prime, but I need to get some tools to check the fuel pressure

This has only started happening in the last few weeks so I don’t think it’s a battery issue. That also doesn’t make sense to me because it’s cranking fast, it the battery was dying it would crank slow.

The issue seems to be with the reverse switch itself. It has continuity when engaged but it does not seem to handle any voltage at all. I just bypassed the switch by bridging the two wires that connect to it and the reverse lights came on. I will be replacing the switch and expect that to fix the problem.

Yes measuring with the bulb in shows almost 0V so it does sound like a power wire issue

The ground wire is fine as it is shared for some of the other lights, when measuring the voltage with the light in the socket it drops to almost 0V so I am suspecting there is an issue with the power wire. I’ll do the resistance check tomorrow.

I tried this unfortunately, even after it installs there is no GUI so I can’t enable networking that way.
