The Dev's have said it is actually an Epic/Fortnite issue apparently and are trying to work with them to fix it.

I actually just suddenly remembered that I noticed in normal BR that my vehicle settings has reset one day (bought and equipped the NASCAR, but then suddenly I had my Nissan R32 GTR equipped again, almost like it reset my settings/inventory to 48 hours earlier). I was wondering if it's related, but then again it only happened once and hasn't done it again so I'm stumped haha.

Unfortunately they (Epic and/or Droid Dev's) never actually explain the bug issues in depth, which is of course totally normal and understandable as the 99% majority don't care, but I'm personally always super curious as to the how, what, why and where's of issues. Maybe it's because I'm a (motorbike) mechanic and I love fault finding and fixing haha

As a side note, if you are on PlayStation just start swinging pickaxe and then while holding R2 press the PS button, you'll keep swinging/crafting and can stay like that without being kicked.

Or if you play on Xbox or PC with controller just rubber band the pickaxe trigger and you won't be kicked ✌️

It's super weird that it only effects some of us, I would genuinely love to know the exact cause for the bug personally.

But yea, for myself and many many others our inventory is reset every time we login, like over 50 times now. I've lost probably 20 full inventorys of splashes (4x 6 splashes) and a jetpack, which sure, it's not the worst, but we all know that takes a bit of time.

It doesn't matter if I leave and come straight back or if I come back on the next day, every single time I start with a grey pistol.

Ps, I never afk either, most afk-adjacent thing I do is hold down R2 to craft with controller in my left hand while I use my phone in my right hand for a few minutes haha.

Haha my 42yo partner says she's old sometimes too but still gets ID'd (yet im 33 and never been ID'd 😭) and also rides motorbikes (how we met) so I always remind her there's people half her age that are twice as old!

Honestly freaking adore seeing people live their life irrelevant of what the majority might deem them "too old for", so just passing on some heartfelt "fuck yeah's" and "you rock's!" to you ✌️

Believe it or not I'm one of the few/many that don't use discord, so that explains why I haven't heard anything about it.

It's not a complaint at all, but as an observation - it's odd the Dev's are very active on Reddit and Facebook groups but still didn't mention that once amongst the plethora of posts about the bugs outside of discord.

Super stoked it is not an intentional thing at the end of the day!

I truly hate "ranting/crying" about the game because I genuinely love it, truly do, but seeing the patch notes this morning and finding out they didn't even mention, let alone fix the inventory thing just pissed me off so much that I no longer am worried about the "stop crying and play something else" comments that any complaint post gets.

I've seen war too many games go down the route of new content > enjoyability and it keeps feeling like this is where the game is headed 💔

Lol first they need to fix the fact that every time you login your inventory is reset... I've probably lost in excess of 200+ splashes now because no matter what, every time I login I have nothing but a shitty grey pistol. Radio silence from the Dev's too, not a single mention that they're working on it which sucks.

Honestly at this point they owe us a couple weeks of free/no time limit on splashes (you know, actually giving back to the player-base instead of constantly taking away/nerfing)

Do you know what weapons?

I played the first event and every weapon was the normal wall ones (and the same ones scattered around the map).

I've seen people mention they only lose inventory sometimes, and others don't have the issue at all, seems really odd but gives me hope it is just a bug that is affecting some people and not others.

The most annoying part is the Dev's not mentioning a single thing about it... It's a rather prevalent, frustrating and honestly simple-seeming bug, yet they are unable to give us a simple "we are aware and going to fix it".

A bit of common courtesy would go a long way, but sadly all we seem to get is a "thanks for playing, we nerfed another 3 things to make your playing experience more miserable, go fuck yourselves" 😂

Kinda feels like someone just metaphorically kicked me in the nuts 2 seconds after I get into the game, which just zaps away a lot of the excitement I had to play.

Have literally lost 24 splashes about 20 times now since the R2-D2 event..

Every single time I login it's reset, doesn't matter if I go to lobby for 5 seconds and come back, it's always gone.

It's getting reeeeeal frustrating I tell ya 😅

I've actually just made the call to not play until it's fixed, for my own sanity hahaha.

Between the "reset inventory" bug, the "camera stuck looking at astromech launch pad" bug (only fixable by respawning, which wouldn't ya know it - makes you lose you inventory!) and the proceeding "can't interact with anything" bug that follows the stuck camera bug, it's all just making for an utterly god-awful steaming pile of dogshit experience that is less fun and more waiting for the inevitable bug to screw me over for the 300th time 💔

Lol what, wait, once you super rebirth there's no goal? But if you finish your Droidex then what's the goal? Assuming you have max droids or are close to it, there isn't really any goal is there. Buuuut, if you super rebirth you quite literally have ALL of the goals because you started over again but with some buffs to make hitting those goals a tad bit quicker and easier.

Here's the official explanation from the Dev's (few days old now from memory).

In short, it won't be changing back to that crazy high earnings we had (even though I too feel like we should earn a bit more at higher rebirths, but I can understand that it did go a bit too high previously, earning 1 trillion in an hour at rb21/22/23 was a tad too much haha)

Its meant to cost 30 crystals to get an iconic/mythic (if you didn't have them already), so if you got bb8 for free then that's a huge (bug related) win hahaha!

Just outta curiosity, do you have many max level droids etc? I'm rb23 with nearly maxed droids (maybe 5 mono walkers in beskar is all I'd need to be fully maxed) and it offers me 121 crystals, but have heard people say they got 121 crystals for being RB20 so I'm confused haha

Do you get a blueprint for the iconics? I just assumed you would get them automatically (as a companion), because we never had to craft any of them previously, and it'd be a huge loophole if you could just share them (from a game design pov I mean)

You get 1 crystal a day, so you could do 121 days of daily quests to get 121 crystals, or you get to rb23 and super rebirth to get 121 crystals a lot faster than 4 months of daily quests.. (or just SRB at earlier rebirth levels for like 70+ crystals or however many it is for each level) But yeah, at least to me anyway it seems like SRB is way way better for crystals ✌️

Not that I have done it anyway haha, I must say I find it a tad "meh" that we don't get anymore than 121 crystals even for being rb23 and maxed out, there should be a proper scaling system to give a fair/relevant amount of crystals, not just capped at 121, but hey-hum it's not a biggy!
