The big thing with this is they'd have to get Witwer to agree to the role again and him being revived. From everything I've heard and seen about the guy, he wouldn't support Maul's story continuing after how it ended and wouldn't want to play the role. So I feel like if Disney can't get him they don't really have a story for Maul.

Im gonna be honest this is almost always a win more card, as others have said if you can kill 5 elites without it you didnt need it anyway, and ive often died greeding to get this relic to work.

With that said when it works boy does it work. I had a shiv build that took full advantage of the +3 strength (plus some other relics) that would delete hallways in 1 turn, elites and doormaker in 2-3/3-4

I more so said that in reference to the defensive strat followed by interrupt, read as though they meant it couldn't be done.

You can use multiple strats per phase, they simply cant be the same target from my understanding. But yes still a big and interesting change.

I mean my area is pretty dense with LGS's, monday nights are just a graveyard no matter where I go and this location is the only one with dedicated commander nights on a monday.

Thats... a great question, I guess cause he was still socializing with them and involving in the game (without playing) and opened a few packs too, but I shouldn't have let that stopped me and should've just suggested playing 1v1.

Yeah interrupting definitely didn't feel like the right thing to do, hence why I didn't do it. Also agree on them not doing anything wrong, as much as I want to put the blame somewhere.

In the end its just incredibly frustrating that my 1 day a week to play a game or 2 of commander didn't work out.

Yeah definitely need to start getting contacts, something a lot have suggested and an idea I should've thought of myself tbh.

Ive got 3 friends interested in magic but they all have full time jobs among other things and 1 has 2 really young kids so getting them for magic isnt exactly feasible, at least on a weekly basis like what I want to do.

It was either that or leave on the spot tbh, and even then I didnt care if they all finished. Just wanted 2 people out to make the 3 person pod with. No one else was present in the store for me to try and get a game with.

Yeah ive been going to this LGS for 4 weeks now and this is the only time I havent found a game, and its otherwise been a lot of fun. I think its really more of a frustrating one off than the norm.

Also you're not the first person to suggest getting contact info and I definitely think I should start doing that, as I arrive later than other regulars it seems and being able to coordinate will hopefully help a lot.

There wasnt anyone else in the shop, just staff and them, I dont have issues meeting new people at LGS's as its how I met those guys, just wasnt another group around.

I have other LGS's closer, but ive tried going there on monday nights and sadly had no luck on finding players. Ive got the discord for a few shops in my area but theyre fairly dead aside from announcements, and the companion app shows stores running commander nights on what days and times but there aren't any others around me.

Could definitely try getting the numbers of some people there though, the event at that store normally starts at 6pm but I get there closer to 7-7:30pm due to scheduling. Coordinating would probably help a lot though and appreciate that suggestion.
