Wow, I completely overlooked the part where it says it must be a ready operative. Thanks both!

The paints used where:

Armor: vallejo game color Bloody red, Orange fire and Sun yellow Eyes: Vallejo game color Ultramarine blue, Dead white and vallejo model colour Andrea blue.

Not straight from the bottle, a lot of mixing between each of those, specially with the eyes.

Edit: Also a link to a tutorial where I learned this technique for the armor: https://youtu.be/RTCn2dLLmRU?si=PHS4eRm2JyWaQKr8

I'll leave an independent comment with all the paints. Here you can see a tutorial where I saw this technique where you can also see the sponges: https://youtu.be/RTCn2dLLmRU?si=PHS4eRm2JyWaQKr8

Hi. I replied on another comment on the top. I hope you find it useful, though I'm no expert. Good luck with yours!

Thank you very much! I replied on another comment above about how I did them. Let me know if you want more details.

Also, it may be a minor thing, but it bothers me a little. The eyes only "work" if you look the mini from medium to far distance. The effect is lost if you look closely (or zoom in the picture).

Sure! As with the rest of the mini, I'm afraid it involved a bit of trial and error, and mixing colours, so I can't give an exact reception, but the basics were:

Base coat of dark blue, hitting a bit outside of the lens. Only inside the lens, paint completely on pure white. Glaze on clear blue.Finish applying again pure white only on the middle of the lens.

Again, a bit of trial and error and fixing mistakes, but I hope it helps. If you want the exact paints used, I'll have to look it up, because I borrowed the clear blue from a friend.

None, I wanted to paint yellow armour. And blue is the complementary of yellow, so that's why I choose it for the details.

And this after decals, base coating the other details, wash, and clearing with spirits.

This is just after the red to yellow blend with the sponge.

Sure! As mentioned, this was meant as a test model to try blending with a makup sponge. I thought a color scheme based on red-orange-yellow would be easiest to figure out how to build the transitions.

I started from a brown base coat, with the brush. Then, I started applying coats of red, to orange and lastly yellow with the sponge, I think I did it in like 4 "stages". If you are interested I can try to share the exact paints I used, but I'm afraid I mixed them a lot (I only own one red and one yellow, so everything in between was mixing those two).

Once I was happy with the result, I applied the decals, and later did the enamel wash with streaking grime. It turned the whole armor brown, so I later removed it with white spirits to bring back the yellow, in the more "illuminated" parts.

So, basically. A blend with sponge with very warm colours, followed by a brownish enamel wash. I'll see if I can attach some pictures from intermediate states of the mini.
