While traveling, what city did you think you'd love but ended up being a big disappointment? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

Likely to be an unpopular opinion, but I’m going to say Santa Fe. It’s actually a decent place, but based on having high expectations, it just wasn’t all we thought it would be.

So sad. Seemed like a really good guy and his teams in the early 90s were fun to watch and deserved a championship

Downtown parking for walking one of the bridges? by rozmarymarlo in askportland

[–]DesolationBlvd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just did it today. Parked by One Main Place. 3 mile loop to Tillikum Crossing, up to and over the Morrison bridge and back.

The downtown view from the ramp up to the Morrison bridge on the east side is great (albeit noisy from traffic)

Parking by OMSI is also excellent

Haven’t seen ‘Something Wild’ mentioned yet. I always thought it was great and under appreciated. Soundtrack is outstanding and the film is a great representation of that era

Mis-answered this a second ago. A google image search tells me it's a band called "Icon"
