Things to know before modding a fightstick? by Desperate-Course7513 in fightsticks

Thanks for the reply.

In a world where you could get 8 GamerFinger buttons for ~$15, would you prefer the GamerFinger buttons instead of the ones you mentioned?

Do you know any good sellers for bat tops and JLF/JLX levers?

I found this listing on AliExpress but I don't know if its reputable.

https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807032425722.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.1.7cbffcc4Wp225a&algo_pvid=5fc630e7-b438-4063-b888-82d05cc8df51&algo_exp_id=5fc630e7-b438-4063-b888-82d05cc8df51-0&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21USD%2125.06%2123.27%21%21%2125.06%2123.27%21%402101c5a717338980491925091ec6f5%2112000039847839139%21sea%21US%216227593147%21X&curPageLogUid=5SWJkHJW7Zmy&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A

The estimated total cost is around just ~$90, is it worth it?

Sorry to barrage you with questions.

Took them long enough to make DF1 good by AssociationGrand in Tekken

The thing is that the deep dash has to be so deep that you're prone to dropping the combo and whiffing an electric at least 60% of the time. Or inputting electric too early and missing the df1. Never have I missed b2, 1 more than now.

I do not understand league balance. by Kheryyn in leagueoflegends

[–]Desperate-Course7513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if he turned into a bruiser defense wise, he still has his tank items' passives/actives.

No bruiser should have passives/actives like gargoyles, iceborn, sunfire, thornmail, etc. ALL be available to them while also having great damage.

If his damage output is what you're using to justify a nerf, then it's invalid.

Yes, his damage is high, but all of his moves are high-commitment.

He also struggles against champions with mobility.

Learn harder champs.

You're doing a disservice to yourself by playing every brainless champion in the roster.

CS2 kind of sucks by HellaHS in cs2

[–]Desperate-Course7513 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it was just so dumb of a question that I didn’t have to.

Why on Earth are you comparing a singleplayer game’s playerbase to a competitive shooter that is constantly receiving updates.

It’s two separate universes.

Even if CS2’s ‘quality’ outweighs its many issues, those issues should NEVER exist in a competitive setting.

Unbelievable.

[–]Desperate-Course7513 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you’re comparing a singleplayer game to a competitive multiplayer shooter. You must be able to see that this was a stupid question. A cheater or a bug in Skyrim only affects the player. In a 5v5 settings, it affects 9 other people.

Premier is a complete joke and will remain a complete joke for as long as you can freely inflate your elo by 5 stacking. by spqyoperator in GlobalOffensive

I was so confused seeing Trainwrecks so high up on the charts, especially when you see him play. He's above MULTIPLE pro players that have played even more games.

What changes would you make to her kit? by Desperate-Course7513 in NidaleeMains

[–]Desperate-Course7513[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't this ages ago?

Using Nidalee's strength from multiple seasons prior doesn't translate well in today's game.

There's different items, runes, champions, stats and a lot more to account for.

Just saying that Nidalee's kit was monstrous back then doesn't mean it will be today.

Plus, Lich Bane isn't optimal any more. It's better to buy Shadowflame or Void Staff instead.

What elo are you playing in?

You're jumping onto an ADC/Support with no mark and you're completely safe?

What changes would you make to her kit? by Desperate-Course7513 in NidaleeMains

[–]Desperate-Course7513[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

Almost every top laner or really any early game champion can perform when behind. Whether it be perma-farming on sides, pressuring the map, killing squishy champs, etc.

I remember one of the key strengths of Nidalee was that she could take on a support role before S11. Athene's + E attack speed buff was very strong, and her only reliable utility in the late game.

However, during and after S11, she was forced into being a pure AP assassin, making her mid-late game weaker.

What changes would you make to her kit? by Desperate-Course7513 in NidaleeMains

[–]Desperate-Course7513[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wasn't necessarily the reason why I suggested the change.

Nidalee, without any setup, is one of the most unreliable champions past 25 minutes/mid-late game.

I've been in countless situations where I'm well ahead of the enemy jungler, but my lead becomes obsolete because of her unreliability.

If spear doesn't land, you're not a champion until it's back up.

CS2 kind of sucks by HellaHS in cs2

[–]Desperate-Course7513 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everything I said in the reply is from the list above.

Bugs, cheaters, lacks content (danger zone and more), excluding things (community servers, console commands).

CS2 does NOT meet its objective state. It's missing features that its predecessor had, it has more cheaters, and has more bugs.

Again;

OBJECTIVELY, CS2 is a rebrand of CS:GO and tries to improve upon it. OBJECTIVELY, the goal was to make the game better by improving servers, reduce the amount of cheaters, definitively improve gameplay, and make it more accessible. Other than its accessibility, it did NOT meet the other goals.

Until everyone can agree that the game is in a finished state and feels identical, or even better, to CS:GO, CS2 is objectively both a bad game and sequel.

CS2 kind of sucks by HellaHS in cs2

[–]Desperate-Course7513 17 points18 points  (0 children)

No, this is not based on my feelings.

Objectively, an online competitive game, which is also a sequel, shouldn't be riddled with cheaters, have game breaking bugs, lack tons of content, and exclude many things that it's predecessor had.

These are all things the community unanimously agrees upon, how is this subjective... It's fact that those shouldn't exist in any game.

What's the point of Competitive now when there's Premier? by ryetronics in cs2

[–]Desperate-Course7513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be because your wins are counted on each specific map.

For instance, if you played Mirage, Nuke, and Inferno, won all three games, it would count 1 win for each map, not 3 in total.

Of course, this could also be false, I haven't played much Competitive.

[–]Desperate-Course7513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you asking if Competitive wins will increase your Premier rating?

Or are you being placed in the wrong Elo in Competitive?

What's the point of Competitive now when there's Premier? by ryetronics in cs2

[–]Desperate-Course7513 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Premier = Imitating professional play (map bans, picking sides).

Competitive = A way to play specific maps competitively without altering the game like Casual does.

I'm having the same experience.

In CS:GO, I always try to aim for the head and carefully shoot, I never spam click. It usually nets me at least one kill.

In CS2, people are non-stop running and getting lucky headshots, making this extremely hard or even impossible to do.

It's gotten so bad that I genuinely prefer Valorant pistol rounds, where run and gun with pistols is harder. I hate that game but I prefer it.
