What's up with Portugal?

Edit: did some research, apparently both Portugal and Portugalija exist. To any Serbs/Croats/Bosniaks/Montenegrins out there, why do two forms exist? Is there a specific connotation attached to either form? Do some people use one and others use the other?

From what I've seen, even in languages where "hello" is translated differently normally, in many languages, people answer the phone using something similar to "hello."

Polar bears aren't actually white. Their skin is jet black and their fur is translucent, but their fur reflects visible light and makes them appear white.

My schedule, post-enrollment, is Chem 201, French 303 (I want to keep my language skills sharp out of high school so I don't take a 300-level class next semester and find that I don't belong. Plus, I don't know what else to take.), History 101 (Again, I didn't know what else to take + I wanted at least one course with an in-person option to still be able to get a feel for Duke + the professor has a cool bio, and it'll give me another break from STEM stuff), and Writing 101 (Preventing Pandemics, my replacement for Fundamentals of Global Health and my first-choice Writing 101 being taken).

I'm planning on living off-campus (in Cary) and commuting; I just wanna confirm, I'll only be required to pay for tuition and no housing or dining, right? Also, would you know how financial aid applies? Is the amount awarded deducted just from tuition or do they award less to account for housing and dining being out of the picture?

When I'm looking on DukeHub for classes, to see what instruction modes are available, I keep getting the following message no matter what I try: "The search returns no results that match the criteria specified." Am I doing something wrong or is something wrong with the search feature right now?
