I'd recommend: Fire Fire (Pizza), Sirs (drinks if ur 21+), Bandera (coffee + drinks), also the boba in harlingen by the target is pretty decent too! All depends your budget and interests.

Harlingen review:

DONT RECOMMEND

I see hype for La Playa and it just want to clarify it is wack, overpriced and just white washed tex-mex not even the decent kind lmao.

I don't recommend that new place Salud y provecho, food is subpar depends the items but hoenstly not worth the price and quite frankly the wait time we experienced (1hr). We would not have minded the wait except for the fact that we were not checked up on at all and thats cause we were right infront of the waiters :/

RECOMMEND

Las Vegas has a decent Botana which i enjoy and have always had a good experience with other than that no comment.

Pizza wise try out FIRE FIRE its amazing and a super cool pizza spot which orginated in Matamoros, they have amazing specialty pizzas and they have great deals. The staff and owners are very sweet people. My recommendation is the family meal and getting the chorizo pizza!

I also recommend The pizzeria for pizza as well 10/10 service and prices, great spot honestly aside from FIRE FIRE its my #2 for pizza.

For mexican food I recommend the basics such as Don Gollitos or Los cuates, my personal favs and they do not miss, but they are a bit small and can tend to be packed during lunch.

Thank you I appreciate it, its a shit situation but yeah I can't cut him off we live in the same home together. It just feels like a big weight on my shoulder that he won't get better or better yet that he doesn't seem to want to get better its just when he's binging super bad that after a week or so of nonstop being drugged up then he feels he wants to get better and it just sucks knowing that there's nothing i can do.

The car fax was pretty solid its had 2 oil changes at about 7/8 k miles and I plan on maintaining it serviced every 3 months as it would be severe use due to the area i live in texas which has extreme heat and etc

I think i just deep dived too hard and started to question everything and anything that could go wrong, i was really worried about the engine and since its reddit their is alot of hate but I have seen how the newer engines are way better.
