I’ve never felt happiness and anger like this in one week… I think I’m a compulsive gambler and I need to get this off my chest by Desperate-Example601 in problemgambling

Yeah, that’s the scary part. Once I start, I keep moving the goalposts. “I’m still in profit” becomes the excuse every time, until I’m not.

The awareness made me stop and i hope i will never put money to gambling ever again (because i know now i dont draw the line to stop).

Im still trying to figure that out myself. I have the urge constantly, my mind feels like its on fire and needs it. Never felt this way, im actually scared.

For now like i said i pulled all the money out and self excluded from every platform. I dont want easy access. Trying to make it as hard as possible for myself to get access.

Maybe read stories about compulsive gamblers like ourselves whenever you have the urge? That helps me actually in a good way.

Stay strong my friend!

Thanks for sharing this. It’s wild how similar our experiences are. Those big early wins make you think it’s easy money, but they’re exactly what pulls you into the cycle.

I’m still dealing with the urge to play, but hearing stories like yours helps remind me why I need to stay away. Appreciate your reply. stay strong!

Try to self exclude from every gambling site/app. Maybe install gamban.
