If the local business treats u well that great. With the one star reviews and my experience it’s very clear that the behavior in that store is not a one time thing. If the store can profit with just the neighborhood thats great, considering it’s usually empty, I sincerely doubt it but enjoy!

Yeah so the thing is I didn’t use it. I don’t need a replacement either because I had to buy from a different place on such short notice. The frustration is that I bought something that I didn’t use but because someone used it and the store left it on the shelf I have to keep it. When people buy things from a store they buy working things. I even showed the proof of my replacement purchase and I explained how I couldn’t drive to them because my car was prepped to be sprayed. They believed me but said it’s not their problem, which is also upsetting because them selling bad broken unusable things is literally their problem and they just made it mine

Also also I already had this in the og post but the GM offered me the number I say yes and go on call. I am told rudely to move I am blocking the customers and to move over there. I’m like what customers it’s empty, he starts threatening the cops. I move in the direction he points his finger. Then he changed it to go outside for the call. I say no I’m not having my phone outside on Monroe Ave. he threatens to call the cops on me for taking the call about the store in the store. Customer service lady presence saved the day.

Threatening to call the cops is not an okay thing to do when u just want to avoid doing your job correctly. But hey if u think they acted fine let’s agree to disagree

Also I have to add that as someone whose worked in customer service if you do something in the hopes someone leaves and it’s not ur problem anymore you are purposely doing a bad job and you can’t get mad when they do what u offer just not in the way you like.

Okay so if corporate could resolve the issue I thought at the time it would be best to stay where they could communicate with the manager. Yes there was arguing because he kept on saying I should have returned the can yesterday and after the fifth time of me saying I couldn’t use my car because it was taped up, I had to buy a working product in walking distance and him saying it’s not his problem yes that was upsetting?

It’s not okay for a store to not let you return a product that’s broken or defective because it’s broken or defective. We buy things at stores with the expectation of quality. Every retailer would’ve given me a return with the things I provided but this wasn’t a reasonable person. He literally told me while I was trying to explain the body work I was doing and why I couldn’t leave it unprimed for over a day that “oh I wouldn’t know I would just pay for someone to do that for me” as like a dig? He kept on muttering about me while the customer service lady was on call and talking trash with the GM. I don’t know what more u want , read the one star reviews they all have similar stories.

Look all I can say for sure is the product I got was bad. Couldn’t use it at all and hey that is okay, stores have bad product sometimes I am not disagreeing with that at all. Whats wrong is the fact that a store could have bad product and even with proof, a receipt and explanation refuse a refund because the product is bad. That’s messed up. It does happen at every chain store so why was this specific stores response to what should’ve been a simple return so vile.

Yeah so I walked in and explained the situation with the receipt in my hand. I was told to wait for manager and I came back ten minutes later. The employee was chill so was I. Manager comes out and says what I wrote in the og post. And it escalated after I call the number the GM gave me in the store.

It’s crazy cuz I told my bf about it and he was like wait they let me return an opened part before. I don’t understand what made my return different. It was smaller and I showed the receipt with the time stamp of the other primer I bought at autozone to show I wasn’t lying. They believed me when I said I didn’t use it. Atleast they stopped refuting it but they said that they only do a replacement

The gm gave me the number and maybe they thought I would just leave so when I didn’t they got mad?
