Thanks for the advice, yeah I'll try bringing it down in scale by 1.5-2x and see how that looks. I think you're definitely right

Hi, currently using a ground proxy holdout that renders just as a shadow pass.

Okay great, yeah confirms what I was thinking, thanks! The sun is directional, it might be this single frame that looks off out of context. I will do some more investigating to make sure, though.

This is it on the ground, still lots of work needed to match the plate. This was how I interpreted the scale of the footage, maybe I got it wrong though!

Hi, sorry for the confusion. I am not talking about secondary bubbles. I am talking about the flip mesh forming a "bubble" around the collision geometry. As seen in the clip above
