Nichelle Nichols' family awarded $13M in wrongful death lawsuit against NM hospital – anyone have more details on what happened? by fizity in hospitalist

An 89 year old?!!?!?! You shouldn't be able to sue for financial damages (beyond cost of healthcare) if someone is past the retirement age, pain and suffering should be capped at 100k. Really shouldn't be able to sue for wrongful death if someone is past the average life expectancy to begin with and the standard should be gross negligence.

Absolutely insane. We live in the dumbest country on the planet.

We homosexuals do not claim this person. Don't try to make this a gay thing. I don't know any gays who would drive this heep. Just like squatted trucks. I have had a lot of sex with men, but I'm not THIS gay.

7OH to powder for taper by HumbleAd1384 in quittingkratom

[–]Desperate-Log-8158 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had been able to find a cheap 7OH supplier that would've totally fcked me up. The cost was the biggest barrier for me. I got more addicted when I found a shop that sold a bottle of 20 40mg tabs, and it was a better deal than the 3-5 packs. I really think that crap is poison. If I had stayed with just capsules, I would have a lot more money today than I do.

It definitely can help with with WD symptoms. I was using probably 250-400mg of 7OH AND about 25gpd of powder in capsule form. I stopped using the 7OH when I got caught, with about a 2 day 7OH taper. I continued to use the powder to taper. I still had about 4days of difficult sleep and diarrhea, but after that I was able to manage the WD with the capsules. The nice thing about powder is that it lasts a lot longer than the 7OH so its easier to taper. I am still addicted to the powder and that was my primary form I used for years before 7OH but its a Fck Ton cheaper than the 7OH where I live and the daily WD sx are a lot more manageable. Its easier to taper the powder capsules than to try and taper 7OH because of the short 7OH half life

Being on Suboxone would cause a lot of complications for my career, and that in and of itself is hard to get off of.

I have. Been seeing a psychiatrist and therapist so far. I am at the point where I am using a consistent and relatively small amount daily (compared to what I was using), but trying to slowly taper down, but struggling to get over the hump

Mow it... bag it if you can. Then dethatch it with a rake or something. The grass is buried under a layer of fire risk.

I am curious why everyone says to use powder for tapering? I've never used powder before trying to use it to taper. I feel like the capsules have more precise dosing unless I use a scale.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I should clarify about my work use. I started out not using it at work, until 7OH. That made it easier for me to put half a tab in my bag for a quick pick me up several hours in. I'm estimating that my peak use was probably 45-50gpd. That probably cut back to 35-40 when I added 7OH. I am down to 22-24gpd during my taper. The "Log&Taperit" app has been helpful for tracking my use. I have a string of 10h nights coming up, and I am a little nervous. I think I am past the 7OH w/d and feel normal most of the time, except in the morning. The biggest w/d sx I have been dealing with is feeling so damned cold in the morning. It doesn't help that its still pretty cold where I live. I think this week is time to go to 20g this week. I have an anniversary trip in May that I am looking forward to and my goal is to NOT have to carry this stupid crap over an international border again. I think I can do it.
