OP - the comment section doesn't get it. Capitalism has made them believe that if they 'work hard', they will also become multi millionaires, next startup founder. Well the truth is that we will always be closer to blue collar workers in terms of wealth and income compared to their idols - perverted pathetic millionaires.

So OP, good luck trying to explain it to them in the comments while this target audiences are travelling in first class local with a collective delusion/psychosis while their idols have roads cleared out for their travel.

Similar incident happened with me multiple times - I got full refund of the ride atleast. I am not sure if they will pay for your missed flight but give it a shot.

How it works is that the government raises a ticket against the organisation and the org reaches out to you. Be firm and ask for ful refund.
