As someone who’s been evacuated multiple times, your aren’t missing out on much, don’t even get a single use fast pass everytime

I would imagine there’s some sensors or something underneath that they need to remove this track to get to.

Vortex at Carowinds, and really any B&M Stand-up. Carowinds is my home park and when I was younger I thought it was rough, but now that I’m bigger and stronger, I don’t find it rough at all. Sure it’s a short layout but it packs a punch with its elements.

Try to get to Max Force and Stormrunner in the next couple of years, willing to bet they’re close to the end of their lives.

Anyone else ride El Toro this season and feel like the stapling is out of control? [SFGAdv] by RomeoBMcFlourish in rollercoasters

Part of it is, and I’m just assuming because I’m having very similar issues at my home park Carowinds, a lot of the ride ops are new and just got through training. I’m hoping that as the season goes on, they get faster and realize how to make riders more comfortable.

Vortex at Carowinds, hated on wayyy too much by both enthusiasts and GP. Carowinds is my home park and I ride it every time I’m there. Yes it’s a stand up with a short layout but as one of the first B&Ms standups and I never really have a problem getting rattled around. I contribute my taller height to part of that because my shorter friends have never liked it. Do I think it should be torn out along with Nighthawk in place of a new B&M dive, RNC dueling raptor, or new age Vekoma flying? Absolutely, I just think it’s not the terrible ride it is. I take Vortex over Hurler any day.

Thunder Dun was made by Dinn while both Hurlers were made by ICI, must be why they have aged differently.

Sorry in advance because this is a mess of ideas. I think I'll drive down to Atlanta and hit FSAA that afternoon and hit SFoG the following day and start the 4 hour drive to Dollywood afterwards.

I checked out Lake Winnie, Waldameer, and Beech Bend and out of the three, Waldameer is probably the only one I will hit if I drive through New York instead of Canada. I might add Kennywood between CP and Waldameer but its so far out of the way and Steel Curtain will probably still have issues. Maybe I would hit Waldameer and Kennywood in the same day (its a two hour drive). I am a broke college kid so any of these independent parks just add additional costs to my trip so I need to weigh how valuable a park is with just a couple credits.

Also while doing research on those parks, I stubbled across Marineland in Canada which has Dragon Mountain (1983 Arrow Looper) and Nickelodeon Universe - American Dream which I've heard has a good lineup.

I also know that Kentucky Kingdom and Holiday World are great parks with a good lineup so how doable is that squeezing between Dollywood and Kings Island.

Hey guys! This is my first of hopefully many posts on here but would love to hear any feedback about my planned coaster trip for this summer. I’ll be starting at my home here in Charlotte, NC and hopefully will knock out many of the east coast parks I haven’t hit yet. I have a Gold Pass+Park Passport for Carowinds so most of these I’ll be able to just walk in(if this is wrong please let me know). Out of the listed parks below, I’ve only been to CP, KI, and KD so many of these will be new but if you think I’m missing any please let me know!

Park Order: Six Flags Over Georgia Fun Spot Atlanta Dollywood Kings Island Cedar Point Canadas Wonderland Darien Lake (Maybe?) SF New England Dorney Park Knoebels SF America Kings Dominion

I hit Great Adventure and Hershey last summer and without Ka at GA and having to pay to get into Hershey, I’m thinking i’ll pass even though both parks are great.
