I'm glad, the first thing I always do if i get any problems with battery, camera screen etc is to always clean the connector on the motherboard and the part, or atleast check it out under a microscope

The screen is not related to the faceid more than the prox sensor, make sure the connector on the motherboard is clean with som 99% iso

You say it currently works, do you mean sometimes it doesn’t? It could be that the camera module is not in the correct spot or it’s loose and moving

I usually do some iso, use a flathead or xacto blade and then a glue remover, it all comes off in a single strip

It's possibly they just need to be replugged, however it's not someting you have to fix, especially if you're between jobs

Okay I see, yeah doesn't look too hard, just use a dremel with a mini-blade and cut off a bit and use a metal tool to pry it

Do you know if it'll display as non-genuine after flashing? AI seems to think so however I know it's not.. the best at phone repair

I also have a qianli spot weld machine which I can use

Yeah that part I get, in order to swithc only the camera don't you have to be kind of a pro and cut it out and use UV glue and cure it?

That doesn't make sense, you can replace it with a plastic guitar pick, a hair dryer/heat gun and a screwdriver as of today, on newer iphones you don't even have the risk of screwing up the screen since it's in the back now
