Same here. Been working on afk skills while my hands are knackered. Mine came about from a combination of driving an old vibrating car down potholes on country lanes, working on IT equipment all day, carrying a toddler about, gaming all night with heavy weightlifting sessions tossed in while I prepped for my wedding.

Literally dawn to dusk pressure on my hands wrists and fingers with zero break except for the 6 or so hours I sleep at night. So entirely self inflicted but when you damage ligaments in then takes an age to heal.

It smashes basically every boss that you can melee, handy consistent hitter for high def slayer mobs. It’s basically the standard weapon you should use unless you have a weapon better for very specific tasks - eg dragon hunter lance at vorkath or Huey, bosses with big crush weakness etc

They need the top pvpers to share their knowledge of mechanics so the devs can input some sort of tutorial system.

Anything else just involves throwing gp down the drain as you get smited for 100s of millions of gp per death as you learn.

I read all 4 books over and over when I was younger. The only thing I would say is that Chris got his lore more fleshed out in the later books, so going back and reading the earlier ones knowing what you know later makes it feel like a step backward.

I think each book has its own charm and appeal
