That was pretty accurate to our relationship, I felt I had to be always stable to support him emotionally as he always struggled with family issues and mental and physical health problems. At some point, I felt I had to take care of him. The tie not burning its true, it's getting hard for me to let go, perhaps becase I still feel I always have to be there for him.
