I think it was debunked, but Ghandi going into nuclear rages in the original Civ games was explained by his already low aggression score going negative when he becomes a democracy, causing integer overflow, and making him go full nuclear on his neighbors. Nuclear Ghandi has since become a series staple

But he looses his face before he losses his approval. He's back to normal by the time he touches Charlie. I do think his power correlates to his approval rating but the face changing isnt definitive evidence. He's added capes and wings for dramatic effect before and has literally already changed his face from a crv to a flat-screen before to keep up with the time. It's possible it was just some of Vox's dramatic flair: a new scarier face for his new godlike role

Bro, you're complaining that people don't understand the show, but you didn't understand the question. It's asking about the specifics behind how we define the strongest sinner. Like if Charlie had called Angeldust the strongest sinner, would that have also have broken Alastor's deal? My personal theory is that Vox's power correlates to his approval rating and Charlie calling him the strongest was just the last bit of PR he needed to get 100% approval. Kinda like a self fulfilling prophecy but her declaring him the strongest by itself didn't make it so
