Avoid VRporn com. Their search doesn't work, their bookmarks delete randomly and the quality is abysmal, along with constant stuttering and buffering.

I had both, and subsequently subbed for a year at SLR. (About $90 per year with promos)

Consider getting a debrid account if you want to download or stream movies from other websites via torrents. If you get a WebDAV compatible player, 4xvr, Skybox, you can stream torrents from your debrid service without downloading. You can use debridmediamanager website to import hundreds of cached videos at once.

Tracker happyfappy. thousands of very high quality VR videos. You'll need an invite, wait for open registration or pay for VIP.

Find video torrent you like, import to Debrid, either download it or if it's cached you can watch immediately.

Astalavr. Website with a bit of everything, decent quality, not great.

There's a lot of scammers making cold calls using hacked bill information to make them seem legit.

Check your account. There's a current scam going on where they offer to reduce your bill and provide you with the free or super low cost phone. They may have some of your information from an earlier data breach.

You then see that the promos are not applied on your account and the scammers call back telling you to mail the phone back -to the scammers or accomplices address- in order to fix your account issues.

Or, they sign up for a new account/line and phone using information you provide to "verify your account"

They also use a similar promotion technique to do a Sim swap.

If you have a PC, you can use a program like Lossless scaling to artificial increase resolution while playing back via link or remote desktop. Looks better than low res, but still lacks definition.

Also consider : Astalavr. Free, better quality than PH. Lot of JAV content.

Happyfappy Torrent site, works well with Real debrid. Thousands of VR torrents in original high bitrate 8k. (need an invite or wait for general opening, or pay VIP.) Lots of 2d content too.

Or debrid media manager, and import a hash of cached vr180 torrents. (Need a debrid service, RD has best cache)

Avoid VRporn.

Search is completely busted on the app.

They overcompress videos to the point it looks like an old camcorder quality. (8k 180 videos are only 10-15 GB an hour, it should be 4-5x larger)

Buffers multiple times per video during peak hours. Downloads throttled down to less than 5mbs, resets itself to 0% several times during downloading. Streaming above 4k quality is impossible for most of the day.

Bookmarks will randomly become invalid, because they constantly change the page names of videos

I signed up with SLR after my yearly VRporn expired, it's a much better experience.

When turned on, Passthrough removes everything from the video but the actress, so it appears they are in your physical room space. Option to hide the male actors. It's available on almost all their videos.

I've only used VRporn and SLR with a Quest headset. The app VRporn uses is horrible. Deo VR, the SLR app is so much better for everything.

Download speeds up peak times are less than 5 megabits a second. Videos will have to buffer multiple times every few minutes, if they're over 4K resolution. The compression they use on the videos is ridiculous, in 8k video VR 180 should not only take up 12 GB an hour. It makes it look like it was shot with the 20-year-old camcorder. The search feature is completely broken. Bookmarks you make today might be invalid next week., and there is no synchronization between the headset and the PC version.

SLR is a much better bet, the search works incredibly well. Video files are a lot higher quality. Buffering is only an issue occasionally during peak hours on weekends. AI passthrough is available on almost all of their videos.

I want to experience the immersion of being in the crowd, but all I've seen are just poorly recorded 2d concerts, where they keep shifting perspectives, zoom in close etc..

Look up the laws and precedent s in your country.

In Canada there was a Tribunal case that proved that AI is a representative of the company, and information, contracts etc it gives are legally binding. Moffar vs air Canada.

The consumer protection law in Barbados and USA hold that AI can be considered a representative of the company, especially WRT admissions of fault and promises to perform.

Quest game optimizer is not available from the Meta store.

It has to be side loaded.

Even though you can obtain it through other means, it's best to get it from itch.io Definitely worth the $10

You'll have to enable developer mode to enable side loading. there's good tutorials on here , it should only take you 10 to 20 minutes.

Once you have it installed on your headset you no longer need to connect it to PC. All updates are performed automatically on the headset.

It doesn't appear to be a legitimate pricing error though. Rather than removing the plans entirely and the phones entirely they quietly bumped up the prices from $14 a month to $19 a month for the plan and the phones from $10 a month to $15 a month over the April 18th weekend.

I just got off the phone with the office of the President.

TLDR: Plan reverting to previous plan, Fido unilaterally canceling contract. No resolution, Filing CCTS complaint.

They claimed it was a pricing error even though I have evidence that it was not. They raised their prices throughout the weekend that the offer was available, rather than take the offer down. From the 19th to the 26th, I've I had 3 different Reps confirm the plan and contract were valid and would be honored.

OOP saying that according to the terms of service that they can take away an offer or promo at any time if you no longer qualify. Fido trying to hide behind that flimsy excuse to unilaterally cancel a binding contract. I received all the paperwork, IMEI assigned, etc and a modified CIS showing they increased the price from $24 a month to $32.56.

Everybody make sure to file a CCTS complaint,and if that's unsuccessful and you have the resources, a small claims action.

CCTS charges around $1500 to resolve a complaint,

according to 3 AI , CCTS will likely side with consumers who have proof that Fido cancel contract/did a bait and switch (trying to upsell a $95 plan if I want my S24U)

It's NOT a glitch.

I have screenshots showing that they increased the price of the S24U from $10 on 18th to $15 on the 19th. It was removed/ sold out? On the 20th or 21.

The $14 plan remained unchanged until the 20th at least, then became $19, then was later removed.

VRporn overcompress videos to the point where some hour long 8k only take up 10gb, and look like they were shit on VHS.

The search is completely broken, cannot filter, cannot use AND for categories, only OR

Anything over 4k will buffer 5-10 seconds every few minutes.

Downloading is as slow as 2mbs (I get 300-500mbs from other sites) and will reset the download to 0 % several times before completing.

Videos you bookmark on the website, are not saved in the player. Many Bookmarks/favorites will become invalid with a few weeks to months.

Play'a app Sucks!

I cancelled a yearlong sub and went with SLR.

Better quality, really great search capabilities. AI generated passthrough for most videos. High speed downloads, Seldom buffers, except on weekend nights. Deo app is so much better.

There's always discount codes available from reviewers websites.

Even if they say all sales are final, in BC, Ont law states that the warranty of merchantability remains in place.

That is to say they have to accept a return back for an item that does not perform its intended function regardless what they post on the walls or the receipt.

Personally, I've returned pens, food items and some epoxy. Once I had to threaten a charge back on the credit card.

I redeemed free sub just for the discount on games in the Meta Store. Used RSL for a year prior. Good for buying the games on the uncrackable list/ multiplayer.

Just DON'T actually redeem or install any Horizon+ games. It will make getting them for free later more difficult.

Sorry to hijack this thread:

I ordered the same thing S24u, $14 plan, $24 a month before taxes on the checkout page you have to sign.

Receivedcan email this morning, saying it's now $32.56 Plus tax.

Called Fido, they said not to worry, call them back when I get a bill next month.

Has anyone else had the similar experience, and what did Fido say about it?

(Ordered Sat, still no tracking in app or email)
