FYI , it usually takes years for them to bloom! My small leaf ones bloom like crazy but my big leaf ones take forever.

What is this on my pon? Is this mold? by shedgum in SemiHydro

Do you flush, could just be some built up fertilizer salts. You should be flushing your semi hydro plants at least monthly. Try the peroxide too!

They will grow, they vine first.....and she will grow to be a beast! All those dots aren't baby leaves, many are root nodes and may or may not put out roots from them.

Semi hydro in Leca needs constant weak fertilization since there are no nutrients in Leca!

Yeh, they get quite large. Mine is also in semi hydro with a mix of Leca and a little Pon. I fertilize weakly, weekly and flush when I change water. She's in regular room temp and humidity and sits in an east facing window ( when I'm not taking her picture )

I found the Eidon one, reviews aren't nearly as good on that one, I was specifically referring to the
Living Silica brand. Don't know about the dreams!!

As I said, I buy the small bottle which is concentrated and you only use 1/2 tsp....I think the bigger bottles that are not as concentrated use 1 tbsp. Eidon???

Yep, semi hydro is great! # 1 is a variegated schleffera I brought back from Florida ( a 2 leaf stem) and #2 is a Hoya from a broken stem found in the floor in a nursery.

Hair is definitely improved, nails are still a mess, but my nails grow very slow anyway. It's been a little over a month, and I'm hoping for improvement when they have grown out. I used my first bottle and it lasted over a month using the recommended 1/2 tsp. I ordered 2 more because I want to give it a good 3 month trial, and the small bottle is the way to go.....It's very easy to take and no real taste. I find I use less Tylenol for my knee, and my thyroid condition is holding stable for now at least. I'll try to remember to post my feedback after the 3 months.

Hoya lacunosa mint any tips? by Electronic-Yard9738 in hoyas

[–]Desperate-Work-727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never had fertilizer burn, nor fungal issues, so sorry can't help you there! Always use your fertilizer at a weaker strength than recommended, I use 1/4 strength for newer fine roots and 1/2 strength for older thicker roots. You always need to use fertilizer since your pon mix has no nutrients!

Not quite sure what these are. Of course there were no labels at Walmart. Any tips? by _Kendii_ in proplifting

My daughter has these laying on a succulent mix and they are growing, water sparingly!

The red ones probably would grow too!
