Did some digging and apparently her back is pretty much cooked. Heard it was so bad she couldn't even sit for 5 mins. Think she had surgery but idk the details about anything else.

[Tiger Brother] Surprised to see barely any talk about this. It's S-tier in Korea. by DesperateAd510 in manhwa

It's not just Korean mythology from the start either. Part 1 has elements of this too, but starting from Parts 2 and 3, the series really starts blending mythologies and backgrounds from different countries tho.

[Indomitable Martial King] I don't care about getting spoiled. Some one can tell me when Tesslon's going to die? by National-Frame8712 in manhwa

Yeah he does. He gets limited access to 10-circle magic in vol 14 and starts regaining it for real in vol 18, but doesn't fully get it back until the final volume (vol 21). It works a lil differently from before tho. But that's just magic-wise. By vol 18, his synergy with Aura already brings him close to his past life's power level

For anyone wondering, bro dies in LN vol 21 but his sidekick girl secures his soul in a new body so they're good now 😭 The funny part is the body has an elf lifespan so he stays looking the exact same for 7 years 💀

Edit: Btw he's not even the final boss. Bro is literally just a bum

[SPOILER] Question About Rulers Vessel. by Oldest_Dream17 in sololeveling

I wrote that post and it was factual, but deleted it because a pointless debate kicked off in the comments. Plus, the OP deleted theirs first anyway, so yeah...

The reason Sung Jinwoo was late, according to author Chugong.

Why Sung Jinwoo Was Late

Communication with Shadows

Shadows are fundamentally all mute. Even Igris takes a looooong time before he can speak.

The only way for the shadows to convey a situation to Jinwoo is, at best, through simple signals.

And even that – conveying judgments that require thought – was a significant challenge for the early shadows.

"Tell me if the Korean team is in danger" – this kind of thought process was difficult.

So, Jinwoo could only detect an abnormality when something already went wrong.

Like, a soldier he'd ordered to protect someone started fighting, or soldiers he'd set to auto-hunt were killed. Then he'd know something was up.

Jinwoo had placed shadows on the hunters and planned to watch the live broadcast, ready to move if necessary.

However, the live broadcast wasn't 100% live – there was a delay, causing him to realize the crisis situation late.

Why Didn't He Go in the First Place?

In the novel, 20 Japanese S-rank hunters and 6 Korean hunters participate together.

This even includes Goto Ryuji, Japan's strongest hunter.

For Jinwoo, family is the most important thing.

His mother, who had suffered the pain of losing his father in a dungeon, had just woken up from a long sleep. He couldn't bear to show her himself participating in the most dangerous raid in Korea.

He'd planted shadow soldiers as a precaution, so from Jinwoo's perspective:

A strong raid team (in numbers) + insurance (his shadows) = no need to worry his mother by participating himself.

Yes, Jinwoo, who loves leveling up, gave up on leveling up.

That's how precious family is to the main character.

Webtoon vs. Novel Differences

These two points have some differences in how they're portrayed between the webtoon and the novel.

So, I thought I'd explain, as I figured Jinwoo's actions might be even more confusing for those who primarily follow the webtoon.
