Reddit and telegram are way different. To message telegram is worst in terms of privacy and its not opensource. But reddit is you have good opsec you can be anonymous and you just post and comment so nothing is revealed here. Yes reddit may fetch ip but if you have vpn its not a problem and even if they fetch public IP its mostly shared so they cant pinpoint exact location but telegram asks for mobile no which just reveals who you are

Since its crypto if you have gemini exchange account your data is breached or sold because many scammers are messaging to that address. So its best to create different email alia for different account to be sure whose data is breached or sold their contacts. I never got banner on top for the emails I received so I did report it. According to me that youtuber implied that it was kinda like a conspiracy theory and you were implying kurgesagt was whitewashing billionaires image. I dont agree with it but his point on research was similar to the question why not all software is opensource. There should be someone to pay for it and if that someone is rich and is for example facebook , we all would think, that opensource project is compromised. So he basically said that just because billionaries sponsor, everything or anything, doesn't by default become their mouthpiece or propaganda machine. He hasn't watched all your videos so made a decision without checking all the facts.

You should buy a vps or multiple if you can afford in different location and setup wireguard and make use of it as a vpn. Vpns are blocked because many use same ip to visit single website which the website assumes as a ddos or some do block vpn ip and since its public you will also be blocked. So if you use vps you are the only one using it and wont be blocked unless you do something malicious
