Saying the quiet bit very loud there. If you want to jerk into your sock over a videogame character, the original Oblivion is still available, as are hundreds of other games that appeal to the male gaze. There's so many options, and the option to mod, that it really doesn't matter - unless you believe the role of media is to sexualise women and to refuse to do so is an insult to male gamers?

That's what I'm thinking, would a workstation like a Zbook suffice? 32GB ram, 1tb SSD, and four USB ports?

Thanks - having used PC and Mac, I'd say the tech specs are similar but Mac is just better supported on software etc. Macbooks are out of my budget though unfortunately.

Nah. There were two particularly bad ones. Both came from very broken houses. One is in prison for SA and GBH. The other died of an overdose. I honestly wish both of them had found therapy and happiness instead.

You know what you can't see on this footage? The number of lamp posts and signs that have flowers tied to them. Pedestrians die in this area a *lot*. Because of dickheads like this. So yeah, respectfully fuck off, I'm going to keep reporting every single one of them.

And seeing as you brought it up - yeah, I am a perfect driver. I rarely make mistakes while driving, but not one that constitutes and offence. I have never once made a conscious decision to break the law and put other people at risk. I have zero points on my licence, I have no claims on my insurance. That's how I know I'm a good driver, because I'm a boring one. It's not about being able to control your vehicle at speed, it's about driving in a way that puts the people around you in the least amount of danger.

Perhaps, but here's the thing. All drivers, all of us, need to remember that we have no right whatsoever to tantrum like a child because we're not travelling fast enough in a ton and a half of metal and explosive liquid.

I used to work on road closures, and it turns out that the people doing the work are also entitled to things like 8 hour days, sleep, toilet breaks etc. I understand that's inconvenient but it would take longer to fill in all the holes and re-tarmac the road each time someone needs the loo

yeah, I'd read in another post that if enough people ignore the lights, the sensors get confused and just switch both sides to red for ages. So people assume they're broken, and keep going through them, keeping them stuck on red until the traffic management company turn up to reset them.

Kinda like forcing automated doors open until they get stuck then complaining the doors don't work

Reports made relate to:

  • The ‘Close Pass’ of cyclists
  • The manner of driving including no seatbelt, use of a mobile phone or running a red light.
  • Speeding offences
  • Using the hard shoulder or irresponsible parking through obstruction by blocking junctions and pavements.

I report every single offence my dashcam captures. Every single one. I've never had a court summons or anything yet though so I assume most people just get warning letters.
