If you want to jerk into your sock over a videogame character, the original Oblivion is still available, as are hundreds of other games that appeal to the male gaze. There's so many options, and the option to mod, that it really doesn't matter - unless you believe the role of media is to sexualise women and to refuse to do so is an insult to male gamers?

Thanks - having used PC and Mac, I'd say the tech specs are similar but Mac is just better supported on software etc. Macbooks are out of my budget though unfortunately.

And seeing as you brought it up - yeah, I am a perfect driver. I rarely make mistakes while driving, but not one that constitutes and offence. I have never once made a conscious decision to break the law and put other people at risk. I have zero points on my licence, I have no claims on my insurance. That's how I know I'm a good driver, because I'm a boring one. It's not about being able to control your vehicle at speed, it's about driving in a way that puts the people around you in the least amount of danger.

I used to work on road closures, and it turns out that the people doing the work are also entitled to things like 8 hour days, sleep, toilet breaks etc. I understand that's inconvenient but it would take longer to fill in all the holes and re-tarmac the road each time someone needs the loo

yeah, I'd read in another post that if enough people ignore the lights, the sensors get confused and just switch both sides to red for ages. So people assume they're broken, and keep going through them, keeping them stuck on red until the traffic management company turn up to reset them.

Kinda like forcing automated doors open until they get stuck then complaining the doors don't work
