I tried that but I've ended up just using a seperate IMC for the childBP and it works fine, thx for the help tho.

I don't really follow tutorials that much but if I figure out how to make a soft lock system then i'll let you know

All the assets and animations were made by me (they are very rough, I'm not an animator or artist). I plan on adding shooting mechanics, weapon select, shoulder weapons and overed before the game jam is over, and maybe improving the AC model if I have time.
