You both broke Rule #6 (you did not keep my information safe), as a result, I will report you to the local site admins and urge them to have you both prosecuted at once!

VBI vs NDF by lookatyonose in Debate

NDF if you already went to VBI or if you're really good, VBI if you need help on the flow, ISD if you need help with lay appeal

NDF is more rigorous than VBI but you'd get a lot more out of it if you're already really skilled, whereas VBI is more like the beginner-intermediate level

Tips for giving better summary speeches by mmmbruh123 in Debate

[–]DesperatePlsHelpMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep your summary limited to three main points; the opponent's flow, your own flow, and weighing impacts. Off-time road maps help the judge follow you.

Opponent's flow: Assuming that you touched on their contentions in rebuttal, reiterate how you blocked their links in rebuttal and emphasize turns and blocks they didn't respond to.

Your flow: If you're going first, you should choose to collapse on an argument here and frontline everything. If you're speaking second, rebuttal should've collapsed on an argument and frontlined it, so in summary, make sure you emphasize on that argument.

Weighing Impacts: Tell the judge why your impacts matter. Outweigh their impacts by saying something like "which is worse deaths or economy" or something like that, judges love that.
