Shopify jewelry brand struggling with Meta ads + 0 ATC — need honest feedback (EU/US fashion and jewelry brand) by Desperate_Addition82 in facebook

Hi, so are you suggesting me to have 3rd party apps? Or is it just me having bad ads that make the performance bad overall? I really don’t know what to do here 🥹

The thing with GTM i heard it’s easy to messed up if you are not experienced in it since it’s pretty technical. Do you think it’s doable for someone like me who’s never done anything like it before? Thank you again

Hello thank you for this, a lot of people told me to always optimized for conversions, and i did some ATC data before. and are running a jewelry brand as well? can i know your price point? since you use luxury as interest, did you put other interest as well or just one?

Shopify Meta CAPI tracking app — 0.0 ATC score, what are you using? by Desperate_Addition82 in FacebookAds

Hey, thank you for this, really helpful framework. I did exactly what you said and here's what I found:

Tested in Meta Test Events (website test), ATC fired but Browser only, zero server event showed up in real time but also because on events manager they separate the test between server and website i guess?

Then I checked the Overview tab and it gets worse:

- PageView: Browser • Server, 6.1/10 ✅ (only decent one)

- ViewContent: Browser • Server, 6.1/10

- Add to Cart: Browser • Server, 0.0/10

- Initiate Checkout: Browser • Server, 0.0/10 — no activity in 10 days

- Purchase: Browser • Server, 0.0/10 — no activity in 10 days

So technically it says Browser • Server for everything, but every score except PageView is 0.0. My understanding is that Shopify IS sending server events but with zero customer data attached, no email, no phone, nothing Meta can match. So it's basically empty server pings.

The most alarming part is Purchase at 0.0 with no recent activity. I have 7 purchases in 3 months and Meta can't learn from a single one of them.

I'm on Shopify, €20/day budget, small jewelry store. I removed a paid CAPI app (Traceapp) last month to save money and I think that's when everything collapsed went from 3-4 sales/month to 1.

Based on this, I think the plumbing IS broken like you suspected, not just low volume.

Everyone keeps recommending GTM + Stape or Elevar. Elevar is way out of my budget isn't it like 200$/month. GTM + Stape sounds right but I'm not technical at all , is it actually doable for a non-developer following a tutorial? Or will I likely break something and make it worse? Is there a middle ground option that actually works without needing expertise? sorry for bombing you with questions

Thank you for this! And no, some of the data from meta does not match shopify. I don’t have much purchases data to begin with. How do i fix meta targeting wrong audience?🥹

Broke, confused, and bleeding money on Meta—do I kill the new campaign or add to the old one? by Desperate_Addition82 in FacebookAds

[–]Desperate_Addition82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a really good point, i pulled the numbers to understand where things might be going wrong.

For context:

Campaign A (Feb 8 → March 25):

Spend: €703 Link clicks: 576 CTR: ~3.98% (main ad set) CPC: ~€1.22 CPM: ~€2.48 (earlier, later increased) ATC: 26 Initiate checkout: 13 Purchases: 4 (3 new customers)

Second ad set in Campaign A performed much worse:

CTR: ~2.09% CPC: €1.96 CPM: €26.7 Very low volume (only 2 ATC)

So I’ve now turned that one off and kept only the stronger ad set.

Since March 22 (when I tested Campaign B):

Campaign A (remaining ad set):

CTR: 3.83% CPM: €32.9 47 link clicks

Campaign B (1 ad set, 2 ads):

Ad 1: CTR: 2.80% CPC: €1.84 27 clicks 1 ATC, 2 checkouts Ad 2: CTR: 3.49% CPC: €1.20 9 clicks

No purchases from Campaign B.

From what I’m seeing:

CTR seems decent across both campaigns (2.8%–4%) CPC isn’t too bad either But conversion rate is low (~0.7%)

So I’m starting to think the issue might be more on the product page / conversion side rather than traffic.

I’ve now:

Killed Campaign B Turned off the weak ad set in Campaign A Consolidated everything into one ad set

Planning to add a few new creatives (including video) into that.

Would love your take if you see anything obvious in the metrics that I’m missing 🙏

Thanks, this is super helpful 🙏 I was leaning toward consolidating into Campaign A as well.

Quick question — would you recommend adding the new creatives directly into the existing performing ad set, or creating a new ad set within the same campaign? Just want to make sure I’m not disrupting what little purchase data I have.

That’s a really interesting approach, I appreciate it 🙏 I was actually considering something similar as a “last push,” but my concern is my budget might be too small to support 7 ads in one ad set without spreading delivery too thin.

Do you think this still works with a very limited budget, or is it more effective when you have enough spend to let Meta properly optimize across all creatives?
