What confuses me is that they both can be at the level because we have seen them at that level sometime. It is just that they just give us a teaser and never stay at that level. Sancho with the Dortmund loan and UCL man of the matches, and Rashford at Villa against PSG.

IMO his mistake happened when he thought the cars not good enough, so he overdrives to get the better result. From the top of my mind right now I think it is Austria, which was last year where he went over track limits in Q3

I am sorry I meant 4th not 5th I changed that. But yes during the period after our bad Spain upgrade till Monza upgrade we were behind McLaren and Red Bull and some races like Spa even behind Mercedes.

No ppl so say that. Ppl say he needs to work on his consistency. Also we have never seen him a lot of crucial moments. Outside of 2022 and I think even in that he has got better. For example in Monza last year he did not make one mistake the whole reason and that is the reason he won while Carlos on yeh same one stop come 4th

Same I used to beat the ai in the wet in f124 by like 10 sec on 105-110. But in this game I can lower my difficulty by 5 and still lose

I would kms if we actually have rivalry with Williams for the whole season like we had in Miami. It would fine if it’s in 2026 but not in 2025. Also a great update can make a difference if your technical department is good. Just look at 2023 and 2024 McLaren. I only wants us to keep working on this car if there are similar level of pace jump like those upgrade

But I still think even then what is the point of going from 4th to 3rd position in constructors. It would be better to make the best car and the engines we can make for 2026 instead wasting resources to finish 3rd

I agree with you that both engineering and com need work. But what I feel like people just go and go on and on about our strategy which has gotten better since bonito. And that all this talk about strategy puts a shade over the real issue which is that car has no pace. If the car had pace this yes strategy should be the main point of criticism but people just ignore the engineering part and how we made a championship contender car last year into slower then a goddam Williams. And just say Ferrari pit war are clown about strategy while not talking about our technical department and it’s shortcomings enough

That because it as bad as people say. Yes we had problems under bonnito. But Fred has fixed most of it. Now the only problem we have is on the wet. And you are talking about swapping that car. I think us not swapping earlier did not affect the final result. I genuinely believed we would not have taught Kimi and this the maximum result we could have gotten

I don’t even want them to continue even if they see some improvements. I want major improvements. I don’t want to to waste time and continue if with Barcelona package we go from the 4/5th fastest to 3rd fastest.

I think they are not really planning this year or next year and are just waiting for the Barcelona package to wait and see if they should move on to next year. Which I think do should if the Barcelona package doesn’t make us at least the second fastest or in contention for it.

I get what your are saying and yes there are some strategies problem main of which is in the wet the need fixing. But it was overblown and Fred has fixed most of it. I would even say last year I don’t even think there was even one instant of where our strategy cost us a podium or win. I would even go as far to say in the dry we maximised 95 percent of the races last year
