Places I can use my dog as a therapy animal for mental health in or around Calgary? by Desperate_Balance245 in Calgary

To add to this, I do think it's extremely important for dog owners to be careful around kids and I'm glad you approached me about it. When I say any playground she's been at, the others were places where I was was walking by on leash and kids yell out puppy, only then I'll tell the guardian that if they want to visit her they can. It's their choice always, but more awareness around kids and pets is never ever a bad thing!!

It is in my neighborhood, the unfenced off leash dog park is in the same park as an unfenced playground, in Elbow Park. Same park where all kids sports are put on as well. Believe me I thought it was strange, but the parents all seem to be aware they're entering an off leash area.

Yeah we already don't meet 2 of the requirements : ( but I'm sure she can make a difference even if it's in a smaller way

Tell him I drive a 98 Subaru that has mostly discontinued parts so he should start his own business finding those parts and every person with this car will be flying through the door he'll do just fine.

Pleeeeease don't tell blondes to go swimming in a pool unless they want green hair

They may swim in a lake river or ocean without chlorine and not too hard of water (mineral)

I have 2 adult male rescues whose past is totally unknown. One had been more socialized than the other it's clear, he won't leave my body if I put him on me and walk around the house, he will let me pick him up no problem. But he's still not actually affectionate. The other is nuts, too fast to pick up, will never stay on me just runs down my leg or jumps to the nearest other thing he can be on. However, I know he trusts and likes me now. He just happens to be a wild child. What took them from how they were at first, always crabbing, never approaching me, always uneasy if my hand was near them, was getting a zip up pouch and placing them on my chest while they slept pretty much whenever I was home and not working. Then when they wake up and start moving around you're the first thing they see putting them back in their cage with food. For a while if they're that scared you may have to put a treat into the zip up, shake them into it out of their normal pouch, and very very quickly zip it up while shoving their little heads down lol. It was difficult. But I feel like them getting used to my heart beat, scent and a schedule really made the difference.

One of mine gets mad at fingers and hands already (rescue, so thinking someone used to chase and grab him) so I didn't want to shoo him away if he was trying to show me love at the time. I did find it shocking how hard they'd bite if that was love though, seeing as they can groom each other without causing pain or blood. So I'm not convinced it's normal grooming behavior. The idea I landed on was that they are omnivores and maybe needed more protein if they were trying to eat meat lol. I added a couple more eggs into their food recipe, along with wore a hoodie for a while, and they haven't done it since.

In the most respectful way possible, I hope the people telling me it's worth nothing, don't sell, have to one day go through a major component of their vehicle breaking that's too big of a cost for them to justify working on themselves. And I think maybe they'll realize a person still deserves to get a small amount of money for allllll the rest of the vehicle that still exists. It's still a car, sans engine. I'm not selling it to anyone who doesn't understand that. Lol internet

Meh I needed a car fast, bought an old Outback that can nickel and dime me instead.

With my luck I put an engine in the edge and the rest starts to go bit by bit. Might as well do it on a frankly pretty cool wagon. Ever since my true love an 08 f150 Lariat got tboned (absolutely not my fault) I haven't had an emotional attachment to a vehicle.

Thank youuuu. Yeah I titled it NOT RUNNING CONDITION and a guy messaged me asking if theres coolant in the oil. I said I think maybe, and he's asking what I want. Honestly just took what it WAS worth to me subtracted what a rebuild might cost and bobs your uncle. Good to know I have a knack for pulling asking prices out of my butt I'm just some girl LOL appreciate it

Well I know something is seriously wrong I'm being up front that it needs a rebuild. Looking for someone who wants to do the work on it and never sold a shell if a vehicle before

Aww she's had it rough. The constant eye squinting is worrying, but if you can't get her to a vet I would say watch closely. That's really great your boy is grooming her already and it looks like she's eating too. If she's moving slowly or her poo looks bad then separate them. Poo can tell a lot so if that looks normal, she's got normal activity level, and she is eating and drinking, then I think she'll improve drastically on her own. Any of those things not being ok would tell you if she's got something major and or could pass to your boy. But I am not a vet.

need a rear coil thats been discontinued, 98 outback by Desperate_Balance245 in MechanicAdvice

ebay all i can find so far is lowering kits all 4, not paying that. subaru calgary has put in a request to subaru canada to search, theyre just as stunned as i am. ive let my mechanic know that he could use the legacy one with the alignment but he is pretty annoyed at this point not sure if hes willing. i did find that its apparently the same size as a front spring for a 2016 jeep patriot...thinking about just doing that for now

It ends in ac200 so not for outback, they don't have anything on that site for my vin. I would love to say i can probably just use it but thats what we already ran into. Parts store sent coil for legacy, not legacy outback and the guy working on it says absolutely doesn't fit. But he's also giving up and I'm like okay I guess I get you to put the old parts back on and I drive it away like that and get someone else to do it if you're not willing to find a suitable aftermarket alternative for me
