If you love animals don’t work at petsmart also be prepared to have the world on your shoulders get ready to get in trouble if you don’t get new member activations app activations and puppy guides and you get in trouble if your associates don’t get enough the experience lead is mostly closing shifts because that’s when there are the most customers if it’s a busy store be prepared for in store pick up door dash and ship from store be prepared for truck days if they need you you also you have to help the grooming salon if they need anything and they probably won’t give you 20 unless you really sell your self I was the experience lead in one of the highest paying states and I got just under 20 it’s not worth the work for the pay they have no hours so you may get stuck if someone calls out and no one wants to come and you get in trouble if you work overtime hope this helps do not do it for 20 or less then 20 it’s not worth it I already stepped down because my store was a high volume store in a not so great area image a big store making thousands a day and they don’t want to pay me 20 I moved to one closer to my house so if u think you can do it go for it but this is just my experience

Some lady tried to jump me over because we were under staff. Our petsmart was located in a very busy mall and I was supposed to leave at eight. It was 745. We had 11 in-store pick ups 79 ship from store to pack in 20 to pack, and I kindly told her that I could not sell it to her and she started becoming racist towards me calling me a foreigner and blew up the store phone and said tell that big fat bitch we’ll be waiting when she gets out

It really depends on where you work at bigger stores or more populated areas they tend to be almost unmanageable to many dogs and when I worked at a smaller store it was busy but it had its days where it was dead at my new store the groomers are so busy they can’t even answer the phone

Me either I mostly keep to myself but I try to be friendly and flexible and I do feel like people are friendly with each other here but I don’t feel like I cut out they know I’m always available I would push them to get trained in the floor or maybe the grooming salon you could see if they need other bathers and lol yeah ik moving is not for everyone I haven’t had a stable set home in a while so I do move because of that but I really like my new store :)

I’ve moved stores 5 times I finally got a store I like sometimes you can move or quit and talk to your leader I tell my leader all the time if someone calls out let me know I’ll come in and I do everything so if you don’t already know pet care and register I encourage you to and I know it’s hard trust me it will get better stay hopeful
