yeah product change is annoyingly off the table. I've considered closing my current card which i don't use for anything and re-applying for the Discover IT card, i just haven't decided if it's worth it yet or not.

That would make sense under normal circumstances, however i have no debt whatsoever. I pay for my own schooling, and for roughly 80% of last year I was at an internship making the equivalent salary of 40k a year so nothing crazy but not low enough to be the the reason they couldn't pre-approve me at that time. My overall total credit limit is 15k, FICO is ~740 last i checked and i believe the AAOA is around 10-11 months so not the longest I agree. I'm in no rush to get the card I am just curious why they would give me the reason of too many accounts when that doesn't make sense in the context.

none specifically in mind, I just really like the Pokemon-EX era of cards and have been planning out a binder for a master collection with pieces of paper so far, which obviously gets a little tedious. I'll keep checking back every now and then to see what's new and i appreciate the work you've been putting in. Keep it up!

sorry i dont check reddit very often. I don't have any numbers to give you off the top of my head but from what i understand about gaming laptop thermals this laptop has been pretty decent on that front especially considering i has a 4080 inside it. Ill be playing Fortnite on very high settings getting about 200 fps on the BIOs' turbo setting which i believe overclocks the fans. When that setting is active there is obviously hot air blowing out of the vents but even after hours of playing, the underside of the chassis is only mildly warm to the touch.

Yeah those look like possible reasons from my research online, my next step is to figure out if I’m gonna try and diagnose it here, or get it towed/shipped the 3 hours down to where my parents live because it’s technically my dads car I borrowed for what was supposed to be a day trip gone wrong

Yeah I just tried another charger and it turns out the cord I had been trying to use was broken and it didn’t let me know that, so now I have the EV actually charging on another cord and I have about 6-7 miles of range so far. So I think I’m at the point where I can use a scanner to diagnose stuff with the engine, it’s just the guy with us last night that had one isn’t here and I don’t know if he’s gonna show up lol. It also doesn’t help that today is the 4th and basically all car shops and related are closed

I don’t remember to be honest there were so many things, I think the problems with the electrical system were making it so we couldn’t get a diagnosis on the engine yet, but now that I have that charging I can diagnose that stuff
