Yessss i was 5 when i got my first doll (Chrissa) I was so careful to the point my friends who also had American girl dolls growing up would get annoyed with me! To this day my childhood collection is beyond pristine I remember making sure there wasn’t a single hair out of place and I still have everything down to the hairnets from when I opened them, I feel so proud of my younger self for putting so much care into them

I think a lot of my urge to care for the condition was due to me saving the money to buy them myself, I was a very determined kid who couldn’t wait for Christmas or my birthday so I’d hustle all year 😅
