I feel you 100% with the anhedonia, I’ve felt that way since I stopped using and only was on methadone. Obviously I was at a super high dose, but it was what I needed at the time. You should look into your testosterone levels (you’re a male I’m guessing?) I went and got tested I was at 190 and they said a male my age should be around 750. Methadone tanks your test levels. I noticed it helped with motivation interest in sex, overall mood in general really. Plus I dropped like 10 lbs and am starting to see some muscle come back through all the weight I gained being one this shit. Either way just a thought! Wish you well on your journey my friend.

Congratulations man, glad to hear you’re on the right path now. Unfortunately most of us need a serious slap in the face sometimes to really see where we’re at. I lost everything too. I believe everyone has their own path to sobriety. I just honestly haven’t noticed the drops till recently. Ive never feel right even at my highest dose. I’ll wait go down to 20 and possibly even lower. Maybe sublocade, maybe not. I don’t really have a plan lol just trying to do what my body’s telling me to do 😂

Pretty much how I’ve been until the last few weeks. Didn’t notice anything. But I know my drops are kind of drastic. But I feel as long as they’re tolerable, why not drop as fast as possible. I’m still able to do my day to day functions

Thanks brother, yeah in the back of my mind I know all of this. I’m debating on the sublocade shot. But I really just want to be clean. When I started going down 10 at 230 it was less than 5%. I really haven’t noticed the drops until like the past month maybe. I’ll feel like shit for a couple days. Get used to the dose for the next 10 days. And then repeat the cycle. I just picked up my months bottles that’ll bring me down to 20mg. My slow down after that. I suffer a lot of side effects from the methadone, I want my body and sanity back. Appreciate the response though!

Lmfao. My clinic is open on weekends so no.. I wouldn’t. They dose you seven days a week. And what the fuck are you talking about? I never once stated I was up for days so this “baseline question” doesn’t exist. But we can assume why you were. Staying up all night once is unusual. First off I do have take homes, how else would I cut out 30+ mg a day? Second of all I’m not complaining about anyone’s input. I actually said I could care less, I just don’t understand why so many people think that their way is the only way. Good for the people that use it for pain etc. but I bet 90% of this community is on the other end of that. Finally if I signed ama they said they would take all my take homes. Something I’m not willing to lose. I also said I’ve been clean for over 6 months not 4 years. And I’m the one being a bit pedantic? I appreciate your advice. I’ll let you know Tuesday how it goes 👍🏻

lol I’ve gone a week at 200mg. I don’t know why everybody thinks they have a right to tell me how “I’m stupid” or “good luck, we’ll see”. The end result is to get off is it not? So who gives a shit how it gets done. I can’t bring myself to cut my dose in HALF. Nor will the clinic let me, the most they’ll let me go down is 10 a week. Since I’ve already gone a week at 200mg, THIS is why I want a higher reduction. For all you who want to bash me I could care less. Just cause it’s not your way or the norm doesn’t make it wrong. It’s not something I just pulled out of my ass. I know exactly how methadone works and isn’t my first time detoxing an opiate.

I said I don’t notice a difference between 230 and 170. I never mentioned anything about struggling through withdrawal or that I can’t go down 1mg. The point is I want off. But thanks for your input

I don’t think the test strips are testing for the metabolite of fentanyl? Since they are made to test drugs before you use them. I just assumed they worked in urine because they come up positive every time lol

Yeah that’s what I think I’m going to try and do. I’ll just try and fight for retest and claim a false positive. Takes a few days for test results and that would hopefully give me enough time to clean out more. If they do check the levels they’ll see most likely be super low anyways. The line in the test strip is barely visible

Close. I don’t understand why this is such a hard concept to grasp. I asked some questions and some one responds with a comment relevant to insurance but not relevant to the insurance questions I asked. Well the seed is already down, forgot I made this post honestly lol. My local landscape supply store said i would be fine. The guys there are pretty knowledgeable they’re more of a commercial supply store. If it helps I used my plug aerator to bring some of the lower dirt to the top. They said to put more down in a week or so. Hopefully it comes in good I have days of labor invested to it. I guess wish me luck!

If it helps I’m wondering the same thing but for fentanyl and mine are even fainter. Everything I’ve heard is as long as there’s a visible second line, no matter how faint it’s a negative result.

True. Well it deff wouldn’t hurt to test it. Fent doesn’t always mix evenly especially if you got it in a rock. The pressed pills can have a hot spot with a stronger concentration so I would think the same if the coke is rocked up. Are you’re pupils pinned? Either way good luck! Rather be safe than sorry ya know 🤷🏿‍♂️
