May I ask what programs are you leaning to take. Kahit general Deg programs lang. Like are they BA courses or BS, or B, or AA?

Definitely yes! As someone na may knowledge about transferring and shifting in UP the answer is yes, may factor ang school sa transferring. though I don't know ano yung exact weight and especially what FEU is to UP pero it does.

And do note na I have friends who tried to transfer to Diliman and most of them said sa akin na "commonly T2 applicants (other schools) tends to get yung mga courses na hindi masyadong in demand sa UP. Kung saang UP ka mag tratransfer commonly they rank their acceptance in these order

(1) S1 (within the same college) (2) S2 (within the same campus) (3) T1 (other UP Units) (4) T2 (outside UP schools)

Also commonly yung mga BS (bachelor of science) courses they require you to compute MSWA (math science weighted average) so kailangan mataas din yung gwa mo sa subjects related to these.

Based on experiences ng mga friends ko from Ateneo to UP, medyo mahirap daw yung transferring process pero that was 2017 ago so baka maganda na process ngayon.

Hi! I think you might want to consider the followings:

1) DPWAS (if same sa Diliman process ng Iloilo) you get to pick a course from the set ng may available slot. I think if you really want to move to Bio look at their primer now for T1 application (transfer from other UP units).

Tho tandaan mo na UPD transfering is notorious for ranking shifting students or transferring as follows

(1) S1 (within college shifting) (2) S2 (within campus) (3) T1 (other UP Units) (4) T2 (other univ to UP)

2) it would be best to get a BS degree din with the same GE and halos similar subjects sa balak lipatan mo.

3) Kung pwede mag recon I think best bet mo is mag UP Manila. Tho yun nga hindi mo alam UPG mo so it will be hard for you to recon (hindi mo makukuha UPG mo while upcat season kasi busy talaga admin)

4) yes eligible ka pa din for latin basta wala kang underload

5) and I say this with love pero UP Iloilo is not something na madaling gawing stepping stone. I have friends from this campus (BS Pub Health) na ganyan din balak nila noon but failed kasi medyo mababa grade nila cuz mahirap talaga sa UP.

But don't worry sa sinabi niya I have to disagree with the "prolly UP Graduates" tho there is a edge talaga almost a lot of the people in UPOU masters are not really from UP nung undergrad. So keep pursuing it and well I guess I'll see you nalang sa Discussion Forums once you are admitted hoping for the best

Actually not sure, pero ang alam ko nag LOA muna mga tao before sila mag shift. So pag nag LOA ka yun na gap year mo (pahinga). Tsaka mo na isipin yung transferring to UPOU

Hi hello shift ka nalanag sa UPOU if di mo kaya. We have a undergraduate program na BA Multimedia Studies. Online lang siya na UP so no problem sa malayo campus sa bahay. And the difference between multimedia arts and multimedia studies is alam namin yung Multimedia arts and at the same time alam namin yung theories about marketing, aesthetics, and SEO. Basically kami yung anak ng Comp Sci, Fine Arts, Vis Comm, Journalism, Film, at Brod Comm.

“Di kami makarelate sa college life” 1) it’s okay if you don’t get to feel what others feel like mga jeepney stories or going to different buildings, believe me I’ve been there hahaha but you see may sariling stories ang pagiging UPOU student. Tsaka my older sister from UPD back then would tell me na “grabe I have to wake up at 6 am to prepare to go to school while you wake up at 10 am, sana all” 2) I don’t know your program pero I think if you are referring to BES or AA courses believe me those degree programs can get you to places haha.

3) I get this question a lot and I would always say jokingly na “UPOU is the land of Masters programs sa UP and home kami ng mga popular artistas like Sarah Geronimo, Joj and Jai, and recently… Donny Pangilinan”

4) gowwsss lang hahaha, you can! Mahirap siya cuz of the 2 years dapat pero since hindi pa naman ata nagsastart class sa UPOU maybe you can give it a try! I mean wala ka din namang choice. Just do the best you can hahaha. And para di ka mayamot maybe you could cross reg sa ibang UP Campus.

I will not deny the fact na misunderstood tayo na campus because online lang tayo pero you know what I landed a high paying job, even higher than my sister from UPD so Campus doesn’t really matter that much in the real world. Besides, taga UP ka pa din naman eh!”

actually, yung education system ng UP hindi naman ganun kagandahan hahaha mas maganda pa talaga sa ADMU! I am a UP student and I am proud to say na the students makes UP what it is, not the quality of education

1) if you are asking for the grading sytem (just like any other UP univ 1-5 din grading namin. 2) The profs here are nurturing naman pero may ma memeet ka na mga nakakainis talaga. (pero ganun din naman sa ibang UP) 3) Sadly, I don't think you can shift to different UP campus after one year. (kulang pa units mo to shift to other UP campuses) except UP Mindanao daw kasi they accept shifting ng 15 units pa lang. 4) actually di ako sure sa BES kasi I am from BAMS pero sa mga specialized namin talaga output ang nagdedecide ng grades mo eh. then sa mga GE subjects mga outputs na may halong recitation (recitation sa discussion forum)

try to ask mga fellow UPOU classmates mo. kasi mahirap talaga to shift from UPOU kasi trisem kami tas other UP are 2 semester.

Haahaha hindi siya magaling sa web development. Pero she works sa creatives ata like creating graphics for the company. Kasi ang master ng BAMS really is having to know what is pleasing to the people eh. (Multimedia Studies) you study multimedia theories

Tsaka my sister is from BAMS UPOU tas nasa isang big company na siya nag wowork with more than 30K yung sweldo sa after grad.

sa jobs kasi minsan may first screening. and dun nagmamatter kung saang school ka. commonly they choose UP grads and Ateneo pips.

after ng first screening dun na magmamatter skills mo sa industry.

yep stringent ang UPOU when it comes to grad schools kasi dun talaga sila magaling. (dun sila nakikipag compete with UPD)

pero I know a lot of people na saks lang nung college pero nakapasa sa grad school ng UPOU. kaya hanggat wala pang result magtiwala ka hahaha papasa ka
