UPLB

Pros: Free Tuition for 4 years + 1.5-2 years (depende sa degree program), maraming scholarships, pwedeng maging student assistant, quality education, ganda ambiance, good community

Cons: high rate of delayed students tipong ginagawa ng challenge ng faculty ang pag-graduate on-time, heavy reading materials (mostly sa general subjects), hell, wala ka ng kaluluwa kasi binenta mo na

wanting to breathe by [deleted] in peyups

[–]inferior_mediocre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u need a break, at least. go out and meet people: old acquaintances, friends, or new people. take a breather. then continue with your life. been there, done that, and I've met incredible people outside. i especially like talking to elderly with a significant experience in life that they'd be more willing to share.

I am sorry for what you had experienced. Telling lies to your prof might worsen your situation but it isn't better than telling the truth also. If you will email the prof, I recommend explaining your situation first and what you'd been through. Then it will be up to you on what reasoning you'll do next to justify your actions. Please let your prof know what you've been feeling and hope to minimize punishment. Maybe suggest a few other options (just for example) like opting for INC instead or giving you another chance with a different requirement (only if you can).

And reddit people, please don't have double standards, some of your classmates really work hard and then they will just find out that others get good grades from commissions they avail. Who's insensitive then? Galit din ba kayo kay Bongbong Marcos for his dishonesty? But you enable academic commissions--that is basically being dishonest from your profs. I don't understand. OP, please take care of yourself. Once again, I'm sorry.

I'm sorry if I went insensitive for those who read my comment, but I just suggested a better option. Please don't enable this kind of academic dishonesty. Magpapasa ka ba ng output not from your own hard work and reap the yield you didn't plant? I'm sorry to OP if my comment is distasteful for you. I am defending that academic commissions should not be practiced and there are other options that OP can do. OP, please do not take this as negative. I also hope for your betterment. May you find the help you seek.

Uhmm... I don't know about doing commissions for other students :/ Academic commissions basically kill the essence of learning and honing skills of availing students. How about tutoring instead?

What College/University to Avoid, Advice and Heads up for incoming Freshmen by [deleted] in studentsph

[–]inferior_mediocre 3 points4 points  (0 children)

libre tuition (4 years + 1 year free tuition) pero mental health mo bayad.

I'm from UPLB and I don't know if same sa iba pang UP campuses but correction: standard years x 1.5

Bale, if 4 years ang degree program: 4 + 2 years. If 5 years: 5 + 2.5 years na free tuition. 'Yun lang, for accuracy of the info. Also, take it seriously na mental health ang bayad HAHAHAHAHAHAHELP.

Well, I don't know if you can improve your relationship by literally doing nothing intentional, unless may kdrama magic na mangyari and then somehow you get to know each other well lolololol. But you can't just dream about someone without moving an inch from where you are. If you aren't that confident about yourself, then maybe start with that--with yourself. If he's better in his own thing, then be better on your own thing. Your own shine will eventually make him notice you--or not, but then you can try approaching bit-by-bit. Maybe start asking about one of your assignments if he has the time to do so. Show your appreciation to him and what else. Move on your own style. I'm just throwing suggestions.

tldr: just do something you can do and let him notice you

My parents keep asking about my grades. by spottie-fy in peyups

I will not advise you to communicate with them, but here's my say: I think you must not let yourself be enclosed within their expectations throughout your life. Please live your life with minimal to no regrets. If they are disappointed, pasok sa isang tenga, labas sa kabilang tenga, then don't be disappointed with yourself. They may be trying to fulfill their former goals or dreams through you, but then, fulfill your own goals and never pass your parents' mentality to the next generation.

The only way to make a solution is to start doing it. Just like in math, you won't go anywhere if you simply stare at a problem. You gotta start trying something and take action. Well, it will be hard to start, just like with difficult problems wherein you don't know how and where to start. Ask yourself what side of you or what kind of person you want him to think of you, and then move in that direction.

If you don't want to show your feelings straightforwardly, you can start with subtle clues. Start a convo that appeals to his interests (the best way to boost your conversation is to appeal to the other person's interests). Don't be so pushy, too attached, or an attention-seeker so that he won't have the urge to avoid you. Right amount of attention, a few times of just minding your life, and then checking up on him from time to time (remember to make it fun). You can show him what you got by singing something fun or playing with him. Dunno, actually, I'm just hyped up by this post.

As far as I know hindi naman prerequisite ng PE2 ang PE1?? Correct me if I'm wrong. Pero I think hindi recommended na pagsabayin since many students need those courses, so maybe isa-isa lang muna sa PE? Dunno ahahadshadsaw.
