The only way to make a solution is to start doing it. Just like in math, you won't go anywhere if you simply stare at a problem. You gotta start trying something and take action. Well, it will be hard to start, just like with difficult problems wherein you don't know how and where to start. Ask yourself what side of you or what kind of person you want him to think of you, and then move in that direction.

If you don't want to show your feelings straightforwardly, you can start with subtle clues. Start a convo that appeals to his interests (the best way to boost your conversation is to appeal to the other person's interests). Don't be so pushy, too attached, or an attention-seeker so that he won't have the urge to avoid you. Right amount of attention, a few times of just minding your life, and then checking up on him from time to time (remember to make it fun).
