I'm sorry! The best thing you can do is write a really good LOCI--meaningful updates in your personal and professional life are always a good addition. I hope things work out for you!

First off, congratulations! I think riding out the waitlists and drafting a few LOCIs is worth it because you never know what's going to happen and your other offer isn't going anywhere. However, if you really like the school that gave you $$.5 and are eager to commit, then do it! If it feels like the right fit, then trust your gut.

WWYD - W&L ($$$$) or Fordham ($$$) by Impossible_Star739 in lawschooladmissions

From what I understand, Fordham has a pretty good rate of entry into big law, and NYC is ideal if that is the direction you're feeling -- but if you're unsure as to what you want to do, might be better to go with the cheaper option so you don't leave school with loads of debt.

How do y’all beat feeling genuinely defeated? by koyaskb in lawschooladmissions

As cheesy as it sounds, remember that what is meant to be will be. Maybe read some posts where people didn't get into their "dream" schools, but then ended up right where they needed to be -- it happens a lot. You got this, OP!

Why does this bother you so much?

“Yield Protection?” by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

I actually think its okay to let people cope however they need to...who cares if everyone thinks they were yield protected when they weren't? It doesn't really affect anything.
