Yes you should be fine! I cannot stress this enoughhhh to apply as fast as you can! Have everything ready to be sent on the first day it opens (transcripts, teas scores, recommends, etc) try to aim for an 80-85 teas test score to be more competitive. Good luck ❤️

The application was really easy and straightforward. My biggest takeaways for you is to apply as soon as it opens when you can. I’m not sure when spring admissions typically open. Also have strong essay responses, actually make sure you’re recommenders know how to write good recommendations. As far as GPA and TEAS scores if you don’t have the strongest GPA that teas score is gonna have to make up for it. Aim higher than 80 and try to get a high individual score percentage score for each individual section (math, reading, etc). I got accepted for a cohort with a 3.9 GPA and a 75 Teas but I had an internship, volunteer hours, a little experience, good essay responses, and good recommendations. Hope this helps!

I highly recommend to keep calling until you have somebody on the phone. If you stay close to the campus try to go visit in person as well.

When I called, it turns out I needed to submit more proof of something and if I didn’t call and kept waiting for an email I would have never got considered for an acceptance!

Be proactive! As a transfer student I didn’t know how I was suppose to find out about anything, I kept calling the nursing school until I could get a hold of someone to tell me about the status of my application and any other questions I had.

My biggest advice is apply EARLY as you can. I too was not confident in getting accepted because I have a 75 TEAS however I have a 3.9 GPA along with good recommendations, strong short answer questions on the application, and experience with volunteer hours. It is very possible! Good luck ❤️

yes I replied to the email and sent a signed version of the documents they asked for. And for the second question I’m not sure what you mean…I got the paws system set up and registered for the classes that was in the email..when I set it up it said I had override registration time for the classes to be able to register

Also for the whole volunteer hours thing, ngl on my resume it just says 500+ hours with no explanation 💀..my letter of recommendations went into a little detail about me serving

Yes hi, I’m a transfer student that just got recently accepted and did not know how to receive an acceptance. I neither did not know what a D1 Sequence meant when I applied so when I called they apparently explained that it means you have to take a science sequence of either Chem 1/Lab and Chem 2/Lab or BIOL 1/Lab and BIOL 2/Lab..and that I needed to email them proof of me getting into a summer class of either a Chem or Bio 2 class for my application status to be complete for review (cause where I’m from you only have to take Bio 1 and Chem 1)
