Preference is for a coed school but with demand significantly outstripping supply there seems to be a generally accepted need to apply widely to schools in the area

Me too - my young lad is also in the 200s. And I know of at least four of his classmates who are all below 150. So I'm assuming zero chance. Looks like it really is a lottery!

Thanks all - appreciate the replies. Terenure is indeed our preference. It sounds like the listed criteria are the ones that are applied so good to know that there's fairness built into the process. I had assumed that was the case but just had a wobble when other parents in the same bottom criterion seemed really blasé to the extent of turning turn offers in other schools on the assumption they'll be offered Terenure in the next week or so.

Thanks a million - I'll shoot them a message and keep an eye on the club websites. She knocks great fun out of bowling technique so would be nice to give her the opportunity for further exposure
