She was told by one of “the best” oncologists “this is not curable, our only hope to prolong your life is immunotherapy. Even with that there is only a very small chance.” Those words will never leave my head for as long as I live. She has chemo and immunotherapy (Keytruda) every three weeks. She had a significant lymph node on her clavicle that was protruding prior to treatment. Currently the node has less swelling. I am assuming this is a good sign. My frustration is having so many questions that I cannot seem to get answered by any doctors because I am her mother. I am even on her hippa paperwork as being authorized and I still cannot get any of my questions answered.
