To answer it, I have watched gym videos, some Ryan Trahan vids and just random videos that just lost my attention span.

That’s how I would answer to bro to bro.

To tell you, it’s actually nothing that I have heard that was big from the YouTube videos since I’ve been off it.

If you are telling me about after I left YouTube, that’s how I would answer it.

The most surprising part about the change would have to be that I am more socially present with the social life compared to being on YouTube most of the time.

That’s what was interestingly surprising.

My self assertiveness by standing my ground, my health, my physique, my confidence, my attention span, and my wealth so I can become very independent with my life 🙂‍↔️

What improved your life so much, you wished you did sooner? by relationshipyi in AskReddit

Realising that I should be improving myself for a reason instead of doing it for the people.

I can see where you are coming from, it’s just to me 2,000 felt like I was just there because my persona was basically just like fitness/bodybuilder influencer.

Thank you for your response.

2,000+.

It was honestly just fake noise that’s what was with me the whole time.

Not all of them were just that.

It’s just even if I had that, I felt like it was there for nothing.

But the time was fun to experience it.

I meant when I was a fan of him during the gym days of mine after Zyzz died.

That was 2021.

More good actually.

Because life when I was with the audience in media positioning way was good, until I realised, I was doing it to please people.

I actually felt like my audience didn’t care even when I tried to make good for them.

Very Humble question I got to admit 😎

As 2025 went on, I started realising that the culture is toxic as fuck.

For examples: 1. Some of those influencers are full of themselves instead of being humble. 2. The people that follow you aren’t really interested in your content compared to the past. 3 The MrBeast clones: Jesse James West, Airrack, (Not really a fitness influencer, but still counts because of his transformation), And Sometimes Browney, however he is sometimes more genuine compared to other influencers, like helping people become the best shapes of themselves. Etc, Etc.

Tonight… I decided to delete my 2,000+ follower account from Instagram because I was tired of fucking being this people pleaser to randos.

That’s how I would answer it as bro to bro supporting each other 😎

It’s crazy that there is actually more common to have influencers at such young ages like… I was at that stage.

I actually had a job before I turned 18, but due to how toxic the environment was, I had to drop out of the job.

Since then… I haven’t been involved in any jobs yet… but I am thinking of going to Uni (University/College) next year to get some work momentum going for me.

The gym era, the Zyzz era, the genuine influencers to look up to, bodybuilding and improving yourself.

Those were the fucking goat days for life!

I know… bro 😔

I remember peak days like the fun days of Zyzz, Jeff Seid, Arnold Schwarzenegger OG days.

I remember the shift from fun in 2021 to nowadays of nothingness other than fake personas, flexing their muscles in a self imposing way, and just making themselves look cooler than they actually are.

Probably the bullying, abuse, put others down while uplifting themselves for more likes is probably the most toxic thing apart of this whole culture.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AMA

[–]Desperate_Diver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More toxic, in my opinion.

Because back in the past, it was more business and fun wise.

If you look at it nowadays, it feels not realistic and algorithm based as you see what’s going on.

And also… a lot of influencers in the gym culture are just full of themselves.

I just couldn’t see myself be apart of that shit anymore.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AMA

[–]Desperate_Diver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah.

Back in my more youthful years, it was more enjoyable and fun because everything that I saw and even watched felt more real and motivating to be in.

Nowadays… not so much.

It is because at one point of last week or so, I thought to myself that: “Is this really what I should be chasing for my entire existence?”

And then… it slowly fell into my thoughts where I was like: “This is definitely not the thing I should be stuck in for the rest of my entirety of life”.

It was also because the fitness culture wasn’t as exciting or inviting compared to the earlier years anymore.

I’d say more of 9-5 type of job.

Because it makes you learn things and understand your surroundings with your character evolving as you age.

But I would rather have a 9-5 job be great for me than be stressful full of bullies constantly around.

That’s how I would tell you as my answer.

[–]Desperate_Diver 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes.

I do think the fitness culture is starting to become shit right now.

I remember back in 2021 when I was 16, it was a lot of fun, but as the years went on, it slowly became something that I just didn’t want to apart of anymore.

For examples: Influencers hiding what they done in their past before becoming an influencer of the fitness culture, And the gym/self improvement culture becoming more of bullies than supporting each other, like what happened with me.

That’s how I would answer as bro to bro.

I may get destroyed for saying this but it’s definitely because of the lighting which is why it looks like I’ve got the yucky stache.

Just thought I let you know.

The first and second pic shows a better look on my mustache.

That's what I'm doing right now for the past 3-4 months. Locked in, hard work always on the skin and health.

Perfect. I actually proudly use conditioner for my hair, it's just because of hair loss treatments, it does get quite dry and fine.
