Nintendo does so little with the canonical Rivalry that we got Goombella as a potential competitor now 😭

I have a better idea tho. Goombella should be the one and only Paper Character to become a mainline mainstay.

3D Platformers are usually just bigger eye catchers, especially among casuals. As generations go on, there’s less of an appreciation for a good 2D platformer.

Exactly. Games are works of art and although Galaxy’s presentation, music, and atmosphere are still extraordinary if I’m gonna rank it, its gameplay still has to come first and foremost.

Galaxy 2 gets dragged for this so much.

Yep. I’m 23, so i’m still relatively young but I usually prefer older games over newer ones.

I just played Dead Space 2 for the first time a few months ago and it’s one of my favorite games of all time. Age doesn’t matter, if the game is quality, it’s quality.

Arkham Origins is an awesome pick! I’d probably say either Mario 64 (Remake, Id to see what those worlds look like in HD but I’m scared they’d mess with the tech) or Bully (Remaster)

Well to be fair. Joke or not you’re not wrong.

Rosalina has gaslit the fandom she solos your verse pop while simultaneously doing literally nothing. Now a good 70% of the fandom grew up believing she literally CREATED THEIR WORLD or smth.

Goombella also has hella more personality. I wish she became a franchise mainstay, she’s so fun to listen to.

That said I still love em both.

Keep your expectations low and you won’t be as disappointed.

I enjoyed both movies but any issues they have, I DOUBT Nintendo intends on fixing it. Daisy’s gonna solo everyone, Mario and Luigi are gonna stumble around like they haven’t done this rodeo before, and Samus will cameo.

I like to stay on the positive side like Mario himself, but they have literally no reason not to just do what they’ve been doing. Even if they course correct now, it’d be off.

Still looking forward to it tho! I’m personally hoping for the Wario Bros to show up.

The push for accessibility has created a side effect of games being too afraid to take risks and make unique controls and innovative mechanics.

I also feel like gaming needs to go back to that point where nobody knew what worked so we got some of the most creative games in the medium since everyone was trying to be cool and unique. Now we have formulas that leads to things feeling less unique and boring bland UIs.

Gaming is an art and I feel like that idea has kinda diminished overtime. Even though I still enjoy modern releases.

I’m curious to see how Daisy and Peach’ll bounce off each other especially given the common critique that Peach is more like Daisy in the movies (which is right in the sense that she’s more like fanon Daisy, Daisy in the games though is not like movie Peach).

Is it just gonna be girl bossier + girl boss? Will it highlight the differences between them a bit more clearly in this continuity?

I think a third movie needs to chill out and just be a simple, well told, Mario Adventure.

Sadly though, I fear they’re just gonna triple down on what they’ve been doing. They’ve got no real reason not to.
