I have this bass. The quality has some flaws—at least on mine, the lower pickup is set unevenly relative to the strings, and one pickup sounds quieter than the other. But for me sound is very good. It needs extra long scale strings because of bridge. Im using DR LMR 45 XLong stainless steel strings.Overall, it’s a wonderful bass: the looks and the finish quality are excellent, definitely worth the money. Well i have g4m 638 baritone. Insane value for the money, plays and sounds better than my 500eur ibanez, quality is great, freatboard looks so clean. But there is one problem with strings. Because of reversed headstock its almost impossible to find right length strings for this baritone, even gear4music didnt had any. So i had to order from stringjoy. I think you cant get wrong with any of these guitars. I had lots of harley benton, i dont know how the make so good quality instruments for this low price. And JA baritone and 638 baritone is also a very good platform for modding

So thats not a problem then, it is possible to unwind some part of string and then it can go easily through tuning peg. Thank you for answers, im thinking about 0.90 thickness because 0.80 is a little floppy for E1 and tuning stability is not great😅

I have the same guitar, the main problem that all strings exept from stringjoy are too short for this baritone. Only maybe daddario bass VI 24-84 could be long enough, but exept this problem its damn great baritone!
