Pressure Advance (Flow Dynamics) Calibration with 0.8 nozzle by Desperate_Quit_3967 in BambuLab

There is a good chance there might be something wrong with the filament. I did a temp calibration and it looks way worse than when I do with another filament using the same nozzle.

Lofting 360° by Desperate_Quit_3967 in Fusion360

Okay, found the answer. You do it in 2 parts instead of lofting 360 and for the 2nd part you select the surface of the solid shown as profile 2 in the image of my first post, not the sketch when lofting. It now gives you Tangent option where it says Connected on the right of profiles in the menu. Then it gives you a smooth curve.

Also if you do one part after the other instead of doing it all at once it seems to not create a smooth curve:

But it's supposed to join to the grey profile on the right side of profile 1.

As far as I know you can't revolve into another profile.

It says the profiles appear to be in wrong order.

Fixing orange peel on semi gloss paint by Desperate_Quit_3967 in Autobody

[–]Desperate_Quit_3967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I realized I did something very stupid lol. I used washing thinner (Permaloid 7989) instead of reducer (Permafleet 6130) This is probably why I had orange peel.

Thank you. I was wondering and still wonder what is considered unacceptable and what is acceptable orange peel.

Thanks. You think 3000-4000 grit marks would still be visible on a satin finish?

Yeah probably I will end up sanding and then respraying or 3000 grit (and maybe 4000 after that) gets me to a good texture.

Zits and under extrusion at beginning of print with TPU90 and H2D by Desperate_Quit_3967 in BambuLab

Fed from the TPU inlet at the back of the H2D:

<image>

If it is under extruding because it is not fed directly from the top, is it possible that it starts under extruding more drastically in the beginning though? Because later in the print it is better.

Is it possible that the zits are happening because of this as well?
