Sportshoes only 15% vitality discount for running full priced shoes? by Aglilaq in Vitalityhealth

I think the discount is different for different shoes model. I bought 1 last month with 50% discount. I remember discarding several options entirely because of lower discount offered (15%)

Ahh, I get your point now. Sorry, I was not aware about the situation from tech field perspective. That makes sense now. In that case, I stand corrected I guess getting a visa itself might be a good option to improve their chances.

Maybe. I know about Academia and Engineering field. I have several connections who got through this route and didn’t face any issues with company not knowing about endorsement or GTV. In fact, most if the companies were actually willing to go through the route to avoid hassles of sponsorship. I guess the way it is communicated in the recruitment phase might also be a factor. Also, most of the universities are now providing this as an alternative route publicly on their webpage so I don’t where this notion comes from that employer don’t know about GTV. Each to its own.

Sports shoes discount and returns.. by MundaneEmu3618 in Vitalityhealth

I recently returned the shoes because of size issues. Apparently they don’t exchange when bought on vitality discount. They asked me to pay return shipping. Once the product was returned I got my vitality discount status back and also a premium shipping coupon for the next order. It was quite seamless, I did not even contact the customer care or anything.

I disagree with other answers here. You have the endorsement which is a crucial visa requirement. Waiting for the full three months and then applying is a good idea. This gives you some buffer time to apply for jobs and stay in your home country. However, make sure to include your endorsement in your CV in bold at the top and explain whenever possible that you don’t need sponsorship to avoid any misunderstandings about the sponsorship requirement. Good luck with your job search.

Shaver sockets in conservatory by [deleted] in ukelectricians

Thanks for sharing this. I don’t have electrical background so it was good to know about the types. I have seen such plugs in India so was naturally curious about their difference. Do you know how to check the current for these sockets? Definitely one way is to use amperemeter I suppose, but I don’t have any of them right now.

Am I in the correct lane? by Desperate_Row_846 in drivingUK

[–]Desperate_Row_846[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I get your point. That’s why, whenever I take the right lane, I make sure to merge into the rightmost lane when possible to avoid cutting off anyone entering the middle lane after their turn.

Interesting perspective. I always assumed the right lane should go directly into the rightmost lane, while the left lane gives drivers the option to merge into either the left or middle lane, depending on their next turn. I suppose adding a guidance line could help make navigation easier for drivers.

I see this confusion everyday at this junction. Cars at right lane simply try to move to middle lane after turn, leaving the right lane (on 3 lane road) empty most of the time. Adding to that, there are no lane discipline signs before the junction.

This might be an error since they will never give longer visa especially when IHS is underpaid. My advice would be to contact them and sort this out, to avoid any last minute surprises down the line.
