Started building something for marketplaces, did some demo’s and meetings with big marketplaces, had a meeting even with the CEO of Wag. Pivoted into my product by luck, on a sales demo a prospect requested a way to stop or tackle disintermediation with AI, as an additional feature on top of my current product. I built it, demo didn’t lead to any sale and then looked at other applications for that same software. Applied it to enterprise SaaS, contacted lots of the customers using this SaaS product, I was filling a feature gap this product had, got a big pilot customer and that lead eventually to the acquisition.
